Tires and Oil Change
I purchased my 2016 Hyundai Genesis from the dealership in 2016 when it was Savannah Hyundai. Since that time the company has Savannah Hyundai, Peacock Hyundai and now AutoNation. I've only serviced my vehicle at this dealership. I've filed a complaint before about a different vehicle but nothing was done to resolve the issue. The purpose for my complaint is because I recently took my vehicle to AutoNation because my driver's door would not open. I received a message from the service tech showing my car up a rack where they are checking my tires. I brought it in for my door not unlocking. I recently went over 50,000 miles on this vehicle. I only bring my car to this dealership and they show me tires that are literally shreded. I took my 2013 Genesis a few months ago and I was told that I needed 4 new tires and brakes after having a conversation with the representative he misspoke and recanted and said i only needed 2 tires. I gave them approval to make the repair. Now concerning my 2016 Genesis. I've been taking my car to them for tire rotations and oil changes since purchasing the car. I most recently took to them this year in May and again in December 3rd for oil change and rotation. Either they lied and didn't rotate my tires in May and December or then rotate bad tires. Either way my family could have been killed driving on those tires. I could have been killed. Just like my primary care doctor, I look for this dealership to maintain my cars and if anything is wrong let me know. In this case I told about my tires that I understand are the original tires but how do you rotate them twice this year and not bring it my attention until I need my door lock checked on the drivers side? Thank God I was killed. I'm disappointed because I've left several messages with the manager but no return call.

This is a terrible place. STAY AWAY!
These people are all liars and crooks. The service department is the worse. I have filed numerous complaints on these people concerning the treatment I received here and them damaging my vehicle . I got so frustrated with dealing with there people that I traded the brand new car I just purchased in January and bought a Toyota from another dealership Sanjay so I would not have to deal with these people . I owed over $33.000 on the Elantra and it had depreciated so much since January . It was valued at $21.000 , yes a brand new vehicle with less than 7000 miles so I had to put $11.000 down on the new Toyota just to offset the negative equity , but I gladly did so just to get away from those crooks at Autonation . Please stay away from these people. Look at their rating on the BBB. The BBB discredited them because they have so many complaints against them that they don’t even try to resolve. For your sanity do business elsewhere .

Djaun did an excellent job..I came for service on my 2017 sonata and left with a 2023 kona..a few day later came back Alana helped me she did a great job as well, showed me more things the kona could do. I thank Djaun for being patient with me had a great experience.

An organization that can't even keep the contact details correct is not one with which would ever feel comfortable doing business with. And, since they don't want to do warranty repairs, you shouldn't either.

All they do is ignore me
On Monday Aug 21,2022 my 2018 Ioniq plug-in hybrid stopped working. I had it towed to Savannah Hyundai to be repaired. They did not contact me. Tuesday Aug 22, after leaving 3 messages, I took a taxi to the dealership which cost me $50. They informed me that they were too busy to do anything for me for 2 weeks. After trying to deal with them, I had to take a taxi home which cost me another $51.50. Since then they have not told me what is going on with my car. I am a single 78 year old man with no other form of transportation and am running out of food. I call them daily, leave messages because they never answer the phone, and they never call back. My car is still under warranty, and they apparently aren't interested in fixing it.

Don't take your car to AutoNation Savannah for servicing!
I took my 2017 Elantra in for its regular servicing and recommended servicing. This is only my 2nd time taking my car to this dealership since AutoNation acquired it. The previous servicers were Savannah Hyundai and Peacock Hyundai, both at the same location. My car is now running rough and seems like it wants to cut off. The check engine light is on. I called to ask if I could bring it in to have this checked out. No concern was shown for my situation. I was told I'd need to have my car towed in and they might be able to get to it within 2 weeks. I never had this problem with the previous owners. The previous time I took my Elantra to AutoNation I was charged for a service that was covered by my warranty. They did correct that after I pointed that out to them. I shouldn't have to keep complaining about service!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE WITH GENERAL MANAGER
I DO NOT RECOMMENDED AUTONATION HYUNDAI OF SAVANNAH TO ANYONE. THE GENERAL MANAGER CHRIS SCHIMEK DISRESPECTED ME AND INSULTED MY INTELLIGENCE. I EXPLAINED TO HIM THIS IS MY THIRD TIME COMING TO THEM TO FIX MY 2013 HYUNDAI ELANTRA THAT HAD WATER DAMAGE IN MY ENGINE, STARTED SEPTEMBER 28TH. THEY GAVE ME A BAD ENGINE, THAT HAD CARBON BUILD UP ALL OVER AND I TOOK IT IN MAYBTO BE SERVIC AGAIN.AND NOT EVEN A WEEK PASSED AFTER GETTING IT BACK AND THE ENGINE LIGHT IS ON & ITS JUMPING LIKE ITS BOUT TO SHUT OFF ANY MINUTE. AND IT DID.

Getting a tire replaced
The employees are very polite and helpful. I had a tire problem. I dropped my
Car off at dealership. The service dept. found the tire I needed, got it ordered,
And installed within two days.
Everyone was very nice, the dealership is clean They took care of my tire
Issue as quickly as possible.

We have taken the opportunity to look further into your vehicles repair and the experience you have described to us. First, we would like to apologize for the length of time it took to repair your vehicle. Unfortunately, with us being short-staffed and our parts supply chain being as slow as it is, we are being delayed on many levels with our typical and difficult repairs.  
We have also reviewed your vehicles' history and see that this is your first visit with us. We see that your vehicle had a coil pack replaced. You also indicated that you are now having the same issue as you had previously. We will again need to check the vehicle to see if another one of the 4 coil packs the vehicle is equipped with has also failed. If we had seen that another coil pack was bad during the first repair, we would have replaced it at the same time. Hyundai unfortunately will not allow us to replace all 4 at the same time unless they all failed at the same time. We know this seems strange, but we must follow the rules of the manufacture when it comes to this type of repair.  
The communication part of your survey is well taken criticism and we are working to get that corrected. Again, new/additional personnel and training with our current personnel will assist us with this process. We apologize for not meeting your expectations.

Things went very well. Only thing is there is no confirmation of some kind, text or email for future appointment. I am glad I put the appointment in my calendar and did not forget to check it that day.
A follow up reminder would be helpful for the customer whose "Prevagen" don't help them.
