Bad service department
In 2015 I bought my car from thus location
great experience but the first time we had issues they don't like to follow the rules of the 10 yr 100 thousand mile warranty they always start throwing out costs service department needs a lot of work on the way they handle the warranty I am not empressed with this place at all I 10 location is a lot better

You will NOT get my business!
I was calling to inquire about getting an estimate for my 2010 Hyundai Genesis for some repairs. Being new to San Antonio I have not had any contact with this dealership. I spoke to an individual who was not only rude but she hung up on me. All wanted to know is can I get an estimate before any work is done. My dealership in El Paso was always so helpful and caring I may just have to drive up there to get the service I deserve. This Hyundai dealership and the one on the southside are awful!

cracked windshield and poor service response
I own a 2023 Palisade Calligraphy. I love car but have had terrible service thus far. Had air bag issue right after buying it. Took weeks for service to be set up even though it was a safety issue and brand new. Had to drive loaner for approx 3 weeks. Recently parked it in garage, next day backed out and windshield had crack. No rock ding. Just cracked. Called to speak to service manager several times. Left messages never received call back. Finally insisted to speak to live person. Had to drive it in to be looked at by service manager. He acknowledge there was no evidence of damage that caused crack. Pictures taken to submit to Hyundai. Call back today saying they will not cover. Was told originally to contact contractor they use for windshield replacement only to be told it is a dealer item. Cannot get info when it can be done. Would like to have my first service which is due done at the same time.

When car was purchased we were told it came with free car washes for a year. They were out of car wash cards at the time. Have inquired about getting and have gotten nothing.

I debated on buying Buick Enclave but went with Palisade. I now question that decision.

Unprofessional and unreliable - Please find any other dealership
Have been in 3 times now and while each experience got better it's still chaos over there. #1) They used the WRONG oil for my oil change. After hearing about this being a common issue for their limited N model cars I made sure to ask my advisor BEFORE service which oil they used to which he assured me they use whatever was on the cap. Got my paperwork back and the oil did not match the cap nor my owners manual. Advisor told me the oil they used was better for my engine in the long run - I asked to put that in writing and he was very hesitent and refused to do so. Opened a case with Hyundai and their response was go back to the dealer and get it in writing. #2) came in for multiple issued which were supposed to be covered by warrnty and they told me they had to order parts and would call me within a week once they arrived. I called after a month went by and the parts guy (only one that seems to care) told me they had the part for weeks and not sure why I wasnt contacted. After calling 20x and submitting >10 contact us forms no one picked up and had to schedule a service through their website (ofcourse first available was several weeks out). In it I specifically wrote that I wanted to be contacted and this was related to warrnty work. No one reached out and I showed up for my appt and was asked to come back becuase I scheduled for the service department and not body shop. #3) Their entire service department is a construction zone and for some reason there is not any signage which could direct customers. I sat inside my car for 5 minutes and no one came out and I finally went inside their portable building. Seriously regretting my Hyundai purhcase at the moment.

Oil change
Came in for a “scheduled” oil change for my stop daughters ‘22 Tucson. Appointment was at 10:15 but met the service guy Justin Pitchford at 10:00am
He said it would take 1 hour up to an hour and a half. 2 hours later I asked for an update. Finally got a hold of the service service who said they were just pulling it in. He came back about 30 mins later yo say they are just now pulling it in! In the meantime 2 customers that came in after I did were promptly helped and gone.
If you schedule an appointment then come back and say they’re a lot of vehicles today you should make concessions for that! Oh he offered me a Bill Millers plate as compensation.
Never again not apologetic or helpful .

Clueless on time manage
Was told 6k service intervals could use EXPRESS service. Told 2 hours lots of cars.
3 hours into the wait they started the oil change and tire rotation.
The car is new and I need to find a dealer service team worth a damn. If told the truth I would have left and tried another day. I won't be back..they can't manage their business.

Great service
It was very easy to schedule my maintenance service appointment. I like using my Bluelink. I also added on my state inspection which was no problem getting done at the same time. AUSTIN took care of me and made sure I was kept up to date on any issues. He’s very professional and knows his stuff. He was a big help - THANKS!

Double check your vehicle before leaving
At first everything seemed OK, but as I hit the first speedbump in the parking lot parts started falling off the bottom of my vehicle that were not reconnected correctly. Granted, most of the items were superficial and plastic but it’s pretty scary to heard things falling off the bottom of your car.

Unscheduled visit experience.
My appointment was at 1pm, but because of a bad tire, I was told I could just bring it in asap. I took my car earlier and was attended too immediately and the time it took to fix my car was very reasonable in spite of original appointment scheduled. Everyone was attentive and kind and professional.
