May have to move on
I have kinda had a love hate relationship with this place. I have gotten some high bills at times. ButI trust the work will be done right. And the fact that courtesy cars are available makes it convenient. But this last time I felt I was really overcharged. I went in for a oil change but I also had a latch on one of my doors not working. Then it was some other stuff noticed and I agreed to have fix. Two items I have problem with. The door latch. I was charged over one hundred dollars to disassemble to look at it. Then another $550.00 to repair with part of that was another fee to disassemble. It was already disassembled. And I researched the average repair is no higher than $425.00. Then I was told there was squeaking from the brakes because the caliper was sticking. I was quoted $75 to clean this. I look at the bill which I don't have in front of me. But it was about $80 to look at that then I see another $182.00 for the brake cleaning. This is a old car which has other problems that will occur. I'm not rich I just don't like hassle so I may be quick to agree because I have trust that they will do the job right. But to add I have more squeaking driving home. I just like good work with hassle. But I need to look elsewhere. I feel I paid for courtesy car it was more like a rental this time.
