Recently my daughter, who attends ECU, had a flat tire on a relatively new vehicle and brought the vehicle to Pughs Tire and Service. She had never been there before and I am 4 hours away and not familiar with auto service shops in the Greenville area.
While on the phone with my daughter, I asked to speak with someone at the store. Mr. James Pilioglos came on the line and informed me that, although the tire is relatively new, it had to be replaced due to extensive damage on the sidewall resulting from being driven a considerable distance while severely underinflated due to it going flat. After speaking with James for a few minutes I could tell that he was a person of high integrity. We discussed options and he assured me that he would replace the tire and put the spare back in the truck. He also committed to checking the tire pressure on the other 3 tires to ensure they were safe. At my request, James called me when he had completed the repairs and to review the bill.
At the end of our conversation, James expressed his understanding that as a parent, I was concerned with my daughter begin treated fairly and finding a reputable automobile service/repair shop where she would be respected and treated fairly. I can honestly say that James and Pughs Tire and Service is just that: an honest, reputable business that genuinely cares about their customers and delivers quality service in a professional and sincere manner. Should my daughter's car ever need any auto service while she is in Greenville, NC, we will definitely do business with Pughs Tire & Service. Thank you again James!
