The bad - this time I went for an oil change, and I didn't know they only do synthetic oil changes, so if your car doesn't need synthetic, you are still stuck with it and end up paying 60+$. I wish they advertise it on their website or mention it when setting up the appointment. They also did recommend a service which I think was a needed service, since it was coming up soon on the recommended service on the car user manual. When they quoted the price, before replacing it - they only mentioned the cost of the part and not the labor. So when it was time to pay, the total price was more than what I was hoping for. I wish they would have quoted the full price. And when I checked on the repair pal dot com, the same service for my model car was 27% less than what these guys charged me, and I am comparing the higher limit of the price range from repair pal website. So definitely not a cheap place to get your car serviced. I might have as well got the service done at the dealer, where they let you know before hand the total cost of the service. The only drawback with the dealer is they tend to add unwanted services.
I was looking at some of the regulars who came in, and the smart thing they were doing was they had already bought the parts themselves and were only getting them installed here. I am guessing that could bring your cost down, because for the part they installed for me they charged me 2 times more compared to if I had bought it myself. And also they charged me for miscellaneous things like rags, chemicals, hardware etc., - I am not sure if this is standard practice. Another thing that I didn't ask for but got charged anyhow was, windshield washer fluid. Never been charged before at any other place for this. It was almost like they don't want me to come back to this place :)
I don't remember seeing this in any past reviews that the oil change here is Synthetic only, so get your oil changed here - only if your car needs synthetic. As of May 2025, labor cost here is 140$.
