Overlooked obvious problem and tried to charge me $1200 for un-needed repair.
I took my 2014 Chevy Spark in to Pit Stop with a lean fuel fail indicator, and sputtering when accelerating. They kept the car for a day or so and called me with an estimate. They said that the clutch was defective and needed $1200 worth of work. I was away from home and they couldn't do the work before I had to leave. So I took it to a mechanic when I got home and 30 minutes later he called me - he had fixed the problem with a piece of duct tape! The problem was a gaping hole in the air intake hose - one of the first thinks that should have been checked with those symptoms (the mechanic said). He charged me $40 for the diagnosis and I bought the hose for $49 and installed it myself in about 20 minutes. Pit Stop charged me $125 for a diagnostic fee and tried to explain how it was the clutch when I came in to pick it up. When confronted with a picture of the hose, they refused to give me any kind of a refund on their so-called diagnostic fee. If you have a car that needs diagnostic work, don't go there - I don't think they know what they're doing. I don't know how they are when they know what the problem really is and they just have to do the repairs.

Great People, Great Service, Great Prices
Needed tires installed on a 2005 Chrysler Sebring. Called several places for pricing and Pit Stop hands down had the best price. They had what I needed and had tires on the next day. The people here are super nice and make sure my vehicle is safe to drive.

Pit Stop does everything to make sure you are happy with the work. I brought my car in for some AC work and they fixed it quickly and didn’t try to pad their bill with some made up repairs or extras I didn’t need. Super friendly and always ready to help or just answer my questions. I will always bring my car to them.

Honest Service
Took my car in to get the brakes worked on and knew there was a possibility they would tell me that I needed new pads, rotors, and calipers because it had been 50,000 miles since I had the brakes serviced. Instead, they told me that all that needed to be replaced were the front pads. Didn’t try to up-sell me. Jonathan and his crew run a great business with quality service at fair prices.
