BAIT AND SWITCH - VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
CAUTION - BAIT AND SWITCH ALERT

I called Jerry Dynes Service Advisor to get a quote and make an appointment for oil change ($91.66) and transmission service ($139.99) on my 2018 Cadillac XT5. About an hour into the appointment I’m told by Erik Grant, another Service Advisor that this transmission requires 3 quarts of “special” fluid at over $100 per quart. At that point i decided i wasn’t going to have the transmission serviced since its way before the recommended schedule,…BUT to my shock they had already drained the transmission !! It was suggested that they could put the old fluid back in but I don’t trust that it was drained into a contaminant free container so at this point I don’t have a choice, and I'm forced to pay more than DOUBLE the quoted price! I asked Jerry and Erik both how this can happen as their mission statement states “We will explain every step of the service, BEFORE we start any work” and neither had an answer. Erik stated that they would use it as “a training opportunity” but it’s at my expense. Use EXTREME caution if you decide to trust this shop. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
