Poor customer service
11 months into owning my Bronco ( I paid cash) it was having difficulty starting and stalling and turning off while driving. A huge safety concern, especially driving in Honolulu traffic with my kids. Initially, the customer service was great. Until they could not figure out the issue, then the service rapidly declined.

The first time I took it in, they told me the car was functioning well and they could not reproduce the issue. That time they kept it over the weekend and dropped back off to me at work. But, the issue continued and started happening more frequently.

The second time I took it in, They thought they found the issue. Kept the car for over a week and gave me a loaner. The day I picked it up from them, I got stuck on the other side of the island due the car not starting.

The issue continued to the point where the car would stall and turn off in the middle of traffic and I could not re-start it. By the time I called them the third time, the car was in my driveway for 3 days because it would not start. They advised me to use Ford Pass to tow the vehicle to them and come down in the morning before work. When I got there, no one could find my car. I was advised that I had to call Ford Pass and figure out where my vehicle was. Eventually I contacted the tow company who advised me that they taken my vehicle to their lot and that someone would have to pay to get it out. At this point I am sitting at Ford at 7 am And I don’t know where my vehicle is and no one is helping me. I am then advised that it is my responsibility to call Ford Pass and make sure my vehicle gets towed to Ford before I need to be at work because they cannot give me a loaner until my vehicle is at Ford. At this point I am in tears due to frustration and catch a shuttle to work, not knowing where my car is. I am also told that Ford is not obligated to give me a loaner. This is simply a courtesy they provide. It is not covered by any warranty. And. I spent the whole workday, attempting to figure out where my car is, how to get it towed to Ford, and attempting to get in touch with management. The service manager eventually called me back and echoed exactly what his agents had said.

Eventually, my car was towed to Ford. I caught a shuttle down there. And was reminded that the loaner they are giving me is a favor. They kept my car for a week. I drove it home, and left it in my driveway. It’s not dependable and i am afraid to take it back to Ford if it needs to be fixed.

I am planning to sell it, knowing I will sell it at a loss so that I do not have to deal with FORD again.
