New GV80 purchased from Roseville Genesis flat spot tire problems from not rotating the inventory
GV80 purchased from Roseville Genesis. First let me start by thanking the service and parts team, along with the professional tech’s.

This “NEW” car purchase from Roseville, Genesis is turning into a nightmare. I have owned numerous cars including Lexus and Porsche.

Upon asking to test drive this advertised car I was informed by salesman (S.T.), as he dragged a huge charger across the street that the car had been sitting so long the battery was dead and upon a test drive found out that the tires had flat spots. After jumping the car and letting it run for a while, we took it for a test drive.
The vehicle ride was uncomfortable down the street to the freeway. Upon entering the freeway it was very apparent that the GV80 had a problem with the tires to the point I could feel it through my seat and I saw the steering wheel shake. I took a turn driving and my 2002 Acura MDX with the same Michlin’s rides smoother.

After several times in the shop Genesis service team determined the tires needed to be replaced. This is an $80,000, GV80 not a used “as is” vehicle.

Update: Additionally, a letter was sent on February 23, 2024 to the president Christopher Schaffer @ NorCal Automotive Group. No response.

I started with Genesis Customer Care and they quickly car got back to me the same day. Genesius Customer Care followed up with me saying the Roseville General manager general manager, (Joey) would be getting involved. He did, through the service department, he offered to sell me “NEW” tires for my “NEW” car. Seriously!

The replacement tires are in the parts department just need Genesis to make it right getting them on my SUV.

Purchased SUV December 15, 2023 its now March 7, 2024 and still waiting for Roseville Genesis to make this right.

Bought a lemon
We purchased a GV80 5 weeks ago. We drove it for 3 days and the computer went out. We were given a loaner but they do not seem capable of fixing the car. With the app that comes with the car we can see when activity is going on with the car. For the first 2 weeks we saw no activity. After I called and started to complain then we began to see a lot of activity with the car. We were told they found the problem and it would take a week to get the part. It took 2 weeks for them to receive the part. We got a call today that the car is still not operable and they don't know when it will be. During this entire process we have had to initiate almost all contact as we would not be contacted about the status of our car from anyone. Several times left messages for the service department because no one would answer the phone but not 1 time did we receive a return call. When we did speak to someone we got the same scripted answer that got us no closer to a solution. So we bought a brand new car 5 weeks ago but Genesis of Roseville cannot get it to work.

Gorgeous Car!
I decided it was time to buy a new car. A friend recommended a Hyundai, but I had 2 other cars in mind. I went into the Roseville dealership just to tell my friend I stopped by out of respect, but immediately fell in love with the Genesis G70! The G70 looks very European, and has beautiful designs inside and out which makes it a gorgeous car!. I also loved the Acura TLX, but ultimately the Hyundai warranty and safety features, couldn't be beat. So happy with my purchase!

Great Sales Team
From the moment we walked up the service was exceptional. We had been shopping for a new car for quite a while and had been to several dealerships from Modesto to Roseville, but nothing compared to the service we received at Roseville Genesis. Samuel is an amazing young man and showed us a level of service that is incomparable and unheard of in this day and age. He was calm, courteous, respectful and very hospitable. The car pretty much sold itself but Samuel still did everything possible to earn this sale. He was knowledgeable of the product he was selling and quick to admit when he wasn't sure about something, but he made sure we left knowing the correct answer.
