Buying the GV70 very smooth deal
Went to the dealership to look at a different vehicle and ended up test driving the GV70 but we had to wait till a black one came in put money down to hold it. It took longer than expected to come in but was worth the wait. Still figuring everything about the GV70 but so far it’s not been a disappointment ⭐️

Horrible new car experience
Traded in a ‘19 G70 for a ‘22 G70 with 22 miles. Immediately noticed it had a chip on the back seam of the hood. It has taken 2 wks now trying to get a resolution for fixing it. Genesis tells me there is a paint warranty, however someone at the dealership thought it was a good idea to put touch up paint on it, like I wouldn’t look at it. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM, this has been an absolute headache. I am now footing the $500 bill for the body shop and hoping to get a check to re-coup my expense. ( They did put that in writing) Why they didn’t just send it to their own body shop for paint warranty is beyond me. I will never take any car back to Genesis of Lafayette for a repair, nor would I ever buy anything from a Rohrman owned dealership ever again.

Great staff
Great customer service! They knew I was in a time crunch and made the purchasing process as quick and painless as possible. They were willing to work with me and my budget. Inventory was lacking, but that’s an issue impacting all dealerships and out of their control. Happy to be a part of the Genesis family and look forward to doing more business with Genesis of Lafayette.

Overall, I was surprised at how they treated me. This dealership can be rather difficult to deal with (my grandson had a rather bad experience with them), but they treated me well.
