Mears is great!
Mears has been treating me great for over 5 years now. I will not bring my vehicles anywhere else! The only downside to this place is they can get backed up because everyone wants to bring their vehicles to then because of their reliable great service!

Fixed Problem
I was able to quickly get an appointment for car repairs. Mears fixed the issue with my car and did an excellent tune up. I am very happy with the results. My only comment is they need better communication with customers on the status of their vehicle. They had my car all day without a status update.

Replace CV Boot
During a routine oil change, it was discovered that a CV boot needed replaced. Although the work was outside the warranty period, it was replaced at no charge. Always going above and beyond. Excellent service.

Small-town feel
I've switched from taking my F150 to the dealership to Mears because they provide better service and more trustworthy advice. I was extra pleased this time because they reset the date on my clock for free - something I've asked to be fixed many times (at other places) and it's never happened. It's a small thing but made a big difference.

Always great service!
I took my truck here because an oil change place told me there was dirty coolant and I had an issue. After looking it over, Mears let me know that there was actually NOT an issue, except a couple bulbs out, which they replaced. This is why I take all my vehicles to Mears every single time! They are honest and don’t try to use scare tactics to get you to spend money you don’t need to. They’re the best, and I cannot recommend them enough!!!

completely blown away
I had not driven my car in years. It sat in my garage. My new battery was dead and my tires were pretty much flat. I had tried to jumpstart my car and was successful but, didn't really drive it. Fast forward a few weeks and I try to start my car again. It wouldn't start again so I hooked the cables up and my car made a funny sound. I guess I hooked the cables up wrong. It blew the main fuse so I paid someone $40 to come out and change it. It took about 30-45 to replace that fuse. I still couldn't roll up my windows so my car sat again. Looooong story short, I was told it was an electrical problem and it would probably cost a pretty penny. I took my car to Mears and at the end of the day they said all they had to do was so minimal that there would be no charge. PRAISE GOD!!!! a fair mechanic. I will continue to use them in the future.

Oil Change, Brake Inspection, Safety Check
Brought my 1990 Miata in for an oil change, brake check, and overall safety check. Mears did a fine job on the oil change, checked the brakes and found them somewhat rusty but otherwise ok. Then they looked over this 35 year old car and found no safety concerns. They measured tire tread and brake pad thickness. They looked it over and did not see anything that needed repair. With that, I have the confidence to drive this car with 124,000 miles this Summer.
Mears gives me confidence to keep and enjoy this antique car in good condition. Should I need some repair for it I can count on them providing excellent repair work at a fair price.
I have a number of nice, older cars that Mears supports. This saves me a lot of money. I haven't had a car payment in years.
