Always great service!
I took my truck here because an oil change place told me there was dirty coolant and I had an issue. After looking it over, Mears let me know that there was actually NOT an issue, except a couple bulbs out, which they replaced. This is why I take all my vehicles to Mears every single time! They are honest and don’t try to use scare tactics to get you to spend money you don’t need to. They’re the best, and I cannot recommend them enough!!!

completely blown away
I had not driven my car in years. It sat in my garage. My new battery was dead and my tires were pretty much flat. I had tried to jumpstart my car and was successful but, didn't really drive it. Fast forward a few weeks and I try to start my car again. It wouldn't start again so I hooked the cables up and my car made a funny sound. I guess I hooked the cables up wrong. It blew the main fuse so I paid someone $40 to come out and change it. It took about 30-45 to replace that fuse. I still couldn't roll up my windows so my car sat again. Looooong story short, I was told it was an electrical problem and it would probably cost a pretty penny. I took my car to Mears and at the end of the day they said all they had to do was so minimal that there would be no charge. PRAISE GOD!!!! a fair mechanic. I will continue to use them in the future.

Oil Change, Brake Inspection, Safety Check
Brought my 1990 Miata in for an oil change, brake check, and overall safety check. Mears did a fine job on the oil change, checked the brakes and found them somewhat rusty but otherwise ok. Then they looked over this 35 year old car and found no safety concerns. They measured tire tread and brake pad thickness. They looked it over and did not see anything that needed repair. With that, I have the confidence to drive this car with 124,000 miles this Summer.
Mears gives me confidence to keep and enjoy this antique car in good condition. Should I need some repair for it I can count on them providing excellent repair work at a fair price.
I have a number of nice, older cars that Mears supports. This saves me a lot of money. I haven't had a car payment in years.

Mears - very very accommodating , can't say enough, called and talked to Bob , very professional, understanding, told him the issue, probably battery , ask to drop car off since we jumped started and car is running, Mears did an extensive testing of electrical, charging and battery, battery was installed 1/19/2019.
they installed new battery later at a very reasonable price.
Very appreciated and since it was short notice.

The staff is always very good to me and do a thorough and professional job. I am most appreciative of their honest advice..
Mears made room for me in their schedule the next day after I discovered a big bolt in my tire. They were able to patch the tire and one week later it is still holding tight. They explained that I would need to buy 4 new all wheel tires if I replaced the one that was damaged. With their confidence, and knowing that I wouldn't be going very far in the local area, we agreed to try the patch and see how it held. As a woman, but no youngster, I appreciate being treated with respect and trying to do right for every customer, just not being heavy handed and giving me only one option. Building my trust, and reasonable prices, is the reason I keep going back to Mears.
