Shady dealership
I bought a brand-new Kona from this dealership and really like the vehicle, but I’m frustrated with how the purchase went. There were hidden fees, including an $800 dealership fee and a $1600 “Colorado package” (tint/mask and three clear protective stickers) that couldn’t be removed or negotiated, and these weren’t even shown on their website. The dealer lowballed my trade-in and offered a discount on the new car. I negotiated with the salesperson wasn’t applied at checkout, so I ended up paying significantly more than MSRP. This was after driving 2.5 hours specifically to this dealership for this car and then spending another three hours there.
I contacted the general manager, Paul, to discuss this and explore possible solutions, but he did not offer any resolution.
I wouldn’t recommend shopping there because their fees and add-ons are ridiculous, and the entire process lacks transparency and integrity. Extremely disappointing experience.
