After leaving the shop, I immediately noticed new issues with my vehicle that were not there before. The check engine light was on along with other error messages on my vehicle information system. The vehicle was making strange noises, my Assisted Cruise Control no longer worked, the front distance range sensor no longer worked, and I also experienced performance problems that were never present prior to the service.
I did reach out to the shop to explain the situation, and was told to bring the vehicle back in. However, I was not confident that they knew what they were doing. So instead I took my vehicle to a shop that services only European vehicles and asked them to check out the error codes that were given.
The technician there noted that multiple vehicle engine components were loose/not put together, the supercharger had been removed and reinstalled with the wrong gaskets, and there was a host of other issues.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but the fact that they were in over their heads and would not admit that is really sad. All they had to do was simply tell me they could not service my vehicle and I would have picked it up and took it somewhere else.
I went in expecting professional service, but unfortunately, it left me with more headaches than I started with.
It's gonna cost me $7,697.21 to repair what they messed up!
I won’t be returning or recommending Champs 2 Tire & Service to anyone with a Audi, Mercedes, or BMW based on this experience.
