Service techs are not qualified
I have been to the service dept multiple for various reasons and the service techs have screwed something else up while working on my car. The worst was when I was in for a 50k mile service and they did not tighten the cap on the radiator (or perhaps the overflow bottle) and the car overheated while my wife was on her way to work and she missed an entire day of work because of the tech's carelessness and stupidity. They had the car at the dealership for several hours before they called to say "oops, it was a loose cap, problem fixed". And after I bought a new wiper blade and they said they could replace it for me, they broke the wiper arm. So I had to go back again for them to unscrew that screw up.
