Opened in 1994, Quality Auto has tried to offer the highest standard of repair at competetive pricing with fast service since its inception. Being the oldest privately owned AAA approved shop in Pomona, we have all ASE certified auto technicians and offer a 24month/24,000 mile warranty on our repairs. We specialize in driveability diagnostics and offer smog checks as well as smog failure repairs. We are one of a select few shops that perform Brake and lamp inspections as well as general auto repair. I have lived in the area my whole life and have almost 25 years of auto repair experience. I am an ASE master auto technician and have worked for the Bureau of Automotive Repair as a systems material expert for about 10 years developing tests and training for technicians to further benefit the industry and its standards. Quick and good quality
I went to Mike's shop to change a flat tire. I can tell you that their price beats Costco's. Besides their prices, the staff is super friendly and professional. Definitely recommend!

Excellent, quick, and cost effective service that goes the extra mile.
I would use them again in a heartbeat. AAA referred me to Quality Auto Service for a smog check on a vehicle whose title was being transferred that day. Despite my not having made an appointment and it being late afternoon on a weekday, they were able to fit me in. The gentlemen who work there are both personable and kind -- they even buffed some paint transfer off the car so it also looked better than when I had brought it in! It meant a lot.

Smog checks in 15 mins or less.
I went in for a smog check on my 2013 Camry. The car was in and out of their garage in less than 15 minutes. The staff is friendly, efficient, and quick to meet the needs of their customers.

Replacement of the crankshaft pulley
Another mechanic did not think the repair could be made and that we would need a new engine on a 1998 Toyota 4Runner Limited. Mike said he would take a look and in fact was able to repair it. He did and it runs very nicely. Whenever anyone I know needs work done on a Nissan or Toyota, Mike is the guy.
