Gross incompetence, deceit, or an overall lack of concern for customers. Take your pick. We called to see if a problem with the headlights fell under a Technical Service Bulletin if Hyundai would fix the issue at no cost. We called way ahead, were very specific about the TSB number, and were told that if the headlight problem was that problem, then Hyundai would fix it at no cost. However, their service team would have to do the diagnostic for that to happen. The fee was $160. We schedule the appointment, the car is diagnosed with the precise issue that was a TSB, however after a $200 diagnostic fee, we were told that it was an old TSB and they no longer cover that cost. Pre tax, the issue is $1700 to fix. Firestone would have charged $60 to diagnose and half the cost to fix it. But now, we're out $200 from the starting gate because someone at Hyundai was either grossly incompetent, deceitful and just wanted to make a sale, or didn't care enough to check on the problem before having us schedule an appointment to come in. I will NEVER, NEVER, EVER recommend All Star Hyundai for anything. They are the worst!
