Excellent repair shop. I had a blow out and happen to stumble into this shop. It was the closest to me at the time. Boy am I glad I did, he dropped what he was doing and helped me out. Then found replacement tires at a great price near by. I can’t say thank you enough to this place. He only charged me for the tire plugs too. I would of happily paid him more. Great place and very friendly.

Excellent, trustworthy, friendly, fast.... The best auto shop in town.

A friend told me about Al Dean's. She told me all good things about how friendly and warm and inviting they are. I took my terrain into the shop. I'm a single female and don't know much about cars..... I thought something major was wrong with car... This is where some shops would take advantage of a woman with no knowledge of cars. He quickly found out the car had very little oil in it. He told me that I was very lucky that my engine didn't blow.... He quickly corrected the problem and gave me a 101 lesson on how to check my oil... I definitely found a new auto shop that I'm pleased with. And will definitely recommend my family and friends to Al Dean's Auto Repair Shop

EXCELLENT Service

The ONLY place I take my 04 Honda Element to! Chuck and company at Al Deans have treated me like royalty - Every Time. Being a female, talking with mechanics can be like talking to aliens from another planet .. Not at Al Deans .. They speak simple terms and explain what happened and what needs to be done without any down-talking. Always a quality job and never any unnecessary repairs. Friendly, personable, and really good coffee :)

Chuck is amazing! He loaned me a battery pack, and when I couldn’t get it to work, he FaceTimed me. Still couldn’t do it(I am a mechanical moron) he came to my home to help. They always do great work at fair prices.

Grateful for honest, good, and fast service

Chuck from Al Dean’s was one of the nicest and smartest mechanics I’ve ever met. I had a horrible high-pitched noise coming from my vehicle that I was concerned with. I called Al Deen‘s shop 20 minutes before close and he said he would wait for me and stay after so he would make sure I was not driving an unsafe vehicle. When I got there he had me leave my car overnight to look at it more in the next morning and it was not a small job. He gave me a great deal and had my car all fixed within hours. Fastest, best service I’ve ever had. Very grateful I chose Al Dean shop to get my car fixed at . Thanks Chuck. My boyfriend and I will be back for your service.

One of the nicest shops I've ever been to

Late Friday a few weeks ago, I called this shop because I needed my truck fixed before Monday. Somehow they squeezed me in and got the repair done. The repair went exactly to the quoted price and Chuck let me see the old parts. He also spent some of time sharing tips about Michigan with me, since my wife and I are new to the area. In a few words, Al Deans shop was the best repair shop experience I've ever had.

Wow just wow

He quoted me a price on the phone and when we got there the price was like $50 more ok no big deal but then this asshole started to tell me what i should get fixed if i dont get certain things fixed i wont make it home. i live 5 minutes away from this shop and i know damn well my alternator was good because i just installed it myself 1 week prior and paid 500 for it at auto zone so right there was a red flag then this dirty guy had his meatball minion come to the front and try to convince me to get this and that fixed and all i was there for was to get my damn ac looked at !!! Guess what i took my ass to walmart and bought the ac cooler and charged my damn system problem solved ! Car still icy cold . This place is the scum of the earth he had the nerve to tell me that i need light bulb fluid in my front passenger headlight! I looked at him and almost cryed smh these people are scammers that bald hindu guy needs to be investigated for highway robbery not cool bro not cool at all i feel sorry for your kids if u have any thier dad is a lying thief

Very friendly, and knowledgeable people.

My husband and I drove from Grand Rapids to Auburn hills to buy a vehicle from a private owner. We wanted to have the car inspected before we purchased it. We were on a time constraint. They got us right in, thoroughly inspected the truck, told us of any issues. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Even told us where to eat and walk in the park while we waited. Recommend highly if you live in the area.

rude

my son took his truck there because of mechanical issue. they told him the total. when he got there to pick up the truck. they told him another price. only 20 bucks more but the quote is the price and he did borrow the money to get it done. no more. when he told the shop he did not have the extra money. and that he was quoted one price. he got very rude and told him that of he wanted, he could charge him 10% more than the quote. which would have raised the bill another 65 bucks, just for nothing.

I will never go back or have anyone I know go there either. its sad that they take advantage of the young working family. and when get questioned, they get rude.

Excellent customer service!

I was shopping at Farm Boy next door to Al Dean's Auto today when my car wouldn't start. Not knowing what the problem was, I walked over to Al Dean's to see if anyone could help. Al was so helpful and professional. He walked over with me, pointed out the problems he saw with the battery (which I had just bought in May 2016 from the dealer) and helped me to jump start it. He advised I go back to them, since it should be under warranty. I was so impressed with his knowledge and kindness. He took the time to show me the problem, and advised how to fix it. I will definitely return the next time I need an automotive repair, he earned a new customer today!

Great service

We are from out of town and our radiatior overheated when we got to MI on a Friday afternoon. I found this place online and brought it in. I told Chuck that we are leaving on Monday and he and his staff we able to not only fix the issue but communicate it with me. It was fixed on Saturday morning , which was amazing.
