Poor diagnostic
I brought my Ford F-150 into this transmission shop due to ongoing transmission-related issues, including warning lights and erratic behavior while driving. After diagnosing the problem, they told me it was a range sensor and charged me $1,300 for the repair.

Unfortunately, the repair did not fix the issue. The exact same problem came back almost immediately after I picked up the truck. While they did mention there was a possibility the issue could return, it was never communicated that it might come back right away—which is exactly what happened.

They also suggested that replacing the wiring harness might resolve the issue, but described it as a “50/50 chance.” That’s not very reassuring, especially coming from a shop that specializes in transmission work. At that point, it felt like guesswork rather than a confident diagnosis.

Overall, I’m disappointed with both the outcome and the lack of certainty in their repair approach. Paying $1,300 for a fix that didn’t solve the problem—and being left with a coin-flip suggestion for the next step—is frustrating. I would expect a transmission shop to provide a more accurate diagnosis and a clearer path to resolution.
