Melissa Martinez is a Fontana Hyundai Treasure
I dreaded the prospect of entering a dealership and car shopping. What a pure pleasure and surprise it was to encounter Melissa Martinez at Fontana Hyundai. She exuded warmth and competence and fun. There was no pressure. She went out of her way to anticipate what we might want to know and had it at the ready. I swear, there was one thing I didn’t particularly like about the car we ended up with, and I voiced it to Melissa. SO sincerely, she talked about that feature in a way that I came to LOVE it. Magic. Ok yeah, that’s good sales, but wow, it worked, because she is the real deal. You aren’t being gaslighted. You can bring your squirmy 8-year old. She became his idol by the end, and she appeared delighted by him (though it made a ton more aggravation for her I’m sure).
This experience with Melissa transformed my ideas of car shopping. Only thing is, she needs to clone herself, or else I always have to shop at Fontana Hyundai from now on.
