There is so much good to tell, where to start is a challenge. So to begin: their knowledgeable and
friendly staff, fair prices, and quality work. Specifically, they are honest, professional and in my experience able to handle various aspects of car care. Also they do a thorough job of checking your car from top to bottom (even if it is a oil change) and giving you a report of potential problems if there are any. I want to share my honest experience with Shorts Auto. My journey began at North Side Ford for an ABS
light issue. They took over a week just to read the test codes, which I had already checked myself. After that, they came back with a repair estimate of $10,000 for a fix that wouldn’t even resolve my ABS problem. I spent the whole day calling around to 30 different places, trying to get quotes for the necessary repairs. Later that day, Shorts Auto contacted me with a much better price on a new transmission compared to the rebuild quotes I had received, and theirs even came with a warranty.
One of the major issues I had with North Side Ford was their poor communication. It was nearly impossible to reach anyone for updates. In contrast, Shorts Auto went above and beyond, keeping me fully informed throughout the process. They completed the repair quickly, even finishing ahead of schedule.
