I've owned my vehicle for 10 years and I'm never broke down mechanically and never got stuck. I drove to Florida from New York and back no problems. It is not my dream car however it's reliable to get around from point A to point B safely.

Reliable for long distances

too bad they are discontinued
i have had mine since i bought it off the show room floor. Have never done that before. the car fits me and is comfortable with my back issues. I've had several compliments on this pearl white auto. It looks very similar to several other major manufactures . . After having it for 10 years the only things that would make it better would be to give it a 5 speed automatic, add about 20 horsepower and better mileage . The back seat should be fold down for access to the trunk. Steering wheel is a little too hard to turn but response it great. The turn radius could be a little tighter . Brakes are great, ride is taught and controlled. The little things that have failed are the tire pressure sensor and both rear windows have had regulator failure. It's a shame that the company has discontinued this model.

i have been happy with this car. it's not perfect but has been reliable . Gas mileage could be better. Needs a 5 or 6 speed transmission . The rear seat should fold down for trunk access.. needs shorter turning radius.,
Sits right for me and handles well..
too bad they don't make it anymore with the added improvements.

Best car I've ever owned
I have owned brand new Cadillac sedans, New Escalades, New Lexus E330, New Infinite Q45, and a new Lincoln Navigator. Nothing I've had comes close to matching the durability and the reliability of this Galant.
