Love this thing

I just picked this up a couple months ago to start adventuring into off roading. So far its been amazing. It can handle routes I had no idea it was capable of, but is also just a pleasure to drive around town. Im going to try my hardest to keep it up and running as long as possible. They dont make these like they used to. Also f*** the new "Discovery's". How could you ruin a brand so badly?

Worth it

I would strongly recommend educating yourself in Landrover! I have had 4!!!!! They call me crazy lol but I’m a Landrover girl for sure. (Just ask all the people that try to talk me out of keeping it !!!

Love the unique vehicle

It is the smallest car with the highest tow ratings, turns on a dime, and has held up well for 210,000 miles. Off road and winter driving is the best. Just replaced air suspension with springs. Get 20 mpg on a trip.

Still lookin' good after 14 years

I love my LR3. 14 yrs and 105K miles - still the best looking SUV on the road. Great styling, and performance - both in the city and off road. I am proud to drive it to either a "black tie" event, or off road.

No better off-road vehicle, unless you have a tricked-out Jeep.

It's expensive to maintain. I just had the 4th compressor installed since I've owned it. Once the vehicle gets over 90K miles, it starts to break down & cost you money. But it is a comfortable & capable off-road luxury vehicle. I've pulled many other off-road vehicles out of sand, mud, ruts, etc, because the LR is almost unstoppable with all it's special off-road programs.

Still rolling

Have 197,000 miles and the Rover is still rolling down the road. Knock of all wood everywhere, the engine has just been superb! The V-6 is plenty strong and just keeps purring, would not buy any other engine. Sam B.

Best Luxury Off-Road Truck

Expensive to maintain at times, and not very pretty, but I won't get rid of it while I still enjoy off-road travel. The visibility is unmatched with its huge windows. I have pulled many other trucks out of trouble while off-roading. I only got bogged down once in 10 years, and that was in deep powdery sand (and I still managed to scramble out after a short while).

Land Rover Lr3

I love this car. The way it drives and handles the road on and off is fantastic. It has great style yet it is able to go just about anywhere. Very dependable and has the space to carry things and third row seating. This is my second one I have owned.

I've had many high end vehicles. The lr3 is by far my favorite! Super comfortable. Tons of space. Sure footed go anywhere confidence inspiring ride.

2006 Land Rover LR3 SE V8

Before buying any used or new Land Rover product do some research on the vehicle. That being said, once the bugs are worked out or replaced, it is an excellent vehicle. If you do any off road or winter driving you won't be disappointed with your Rover. Be prepared though for higher costs for service and repairs, especially if you take it to a Land Rover dealer.

Love my car

I have owned my lr3 for 10 years and even though it has 115,000 miles it still is solid and always fun to drive. Not once have I regretted the purchase.
