KIA Soul Satisfaction
I've driven many cars and the Soul seems to fit me the best. The size is great for parking anywhere and provides good gas mileage. It isn't one that makes me feel guilty to drive as the environment is being spoiled by pollution. Everything is conveniently laid out in the interior, easy to reach and control. I have tried to lock the keys in, leave the lights on, and even restart the car when it's so quiet you can't tell it's already running. All of these human failings have been planned for in the engineering so the damage is prevented. Everything works well and provides driver comfort. The little 1.6 engine has surprising get up and go. The other day I pulled onto the road and suddenly there was a huge dump truck speeding toward us. The many air bags would probably have done the job but the quick acceleration prevented an accident. I like feeding birds and it's nice to fold the rear seats down and put 320 pounds of bags back there not effecting the stance or the vehicle ride. In winter on one of those trips to the mill I decided to take a lonely country road home only to discover the snow hadn't been plowed. I drove on for fifteen miles through one foot of snow having no problems or bad effects other than temporary white knuckles. The sound system is great. The car starts perfectly at subzero temperatures with no engine heater (not even allowed to install under warranty) and this saves on the electric bill and as well as being convenient. All this and people walk up very often and say it's the cutest car they have ever seen and where did I get it? I even had one young couple driving a Buick offer to trade cars. I said," No thanks, I already have one of those at home." I told them about KIA of Duluth's guaranteed financing. I love this car and the added clear coat keeps it gleaming with just a wash. Being our only car it is fun to drive but the black color reminds me of a black onyx dressy enough for any occasion. A bear tried to open the car one night to get some bird seed bags but the paint finish resisted scratches!
