It's the little things
I enjoy almost everything about this vehicle. But, there are some little things that really frustrate me. The most significant is the inaccuracy of the computation of miles per gallon. When it says I get 40 miles per gallon, it's somewhere between 36 and 38 when I compute it manually. Since I am a math teacher I know what I am doing. The calculations are correct. This cannot be accidental. There's no way that you can claim this is just an aberration or something that went wrong. It must be intentional. It's frustrating. It seems dishonest. Most people probably don't do the manual check and except that a computer on board is doing it accurately. But it is not. I expect more from Hyundai than this. The actual miles per gallon is always 2 to 4 miles per gallon less than the cars computer displays. Disturbing. Shameful. I'm also disappointed that a $40,000 vehicle does not entitle me to a free oil change. Thank you for discontinuing that program this year when I purchased the vehicle
