2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited

Still early in the life of my new Tucson and I hope it does as well as my 2018 Tucson Limited which had very few issues during six plus years of ownership. At a bit over 5000 miles I'm still learning about differences between 2018 and 2025 like many of the steering wheel controls were swapped to the opposite side of the steering wheel. Seems like the driver side window controls were moved forward a few inches so I have "rolled down" the rear window instead of driver's window. Just one of the minor things to get used to. Overall it has nice improvements like 360 degree view when backing out and starting forward.

Collision system failure

Collision system keeps cutting of cruise control. They need car for 3 days and will not give loaner. I can not afford to take off 3 days from work. Only 1200 miles on car. I work 45 minutes from dealership so they can not drive me there and back for 3 days

Almost perfect

We haven’t achieved the advertised mpg, the hybrid batter has never reflected a full charge, and the collision sensor doesn’t always read properly in wet weather. However, the ride is quiet and comfortable, and the infotainment system is fairly easy to navigate.

Wonderful ride with some missed feature opportunities

This car is a joy to drive! Great pick up for a 1.6L engine and, compared to my 2015 gas Tucson, the milage is awesome! The tech is also amazing. I love the wrap around dash screen! So, that being said, there are what I feel for me, some short comings. First, I noticed there are no warnings sounds when backing up or pulling forward. That is, if I'm pulling into a parking spot, I have an expectation of a warning sound if say, there is a pylon below my line of sight. Same would go for backing up. I know there is a camera, but I would have liked an audible warning as well. The other shortcoming for me is the info screen on the dash cluster. The screen will provide mileage and travel stats as well as directions and lane safety. However, I would have liked to have had a media screen as well. My preference for navigation is Google Maps. It would have been nice to have Google Maps on the media screen and have an info window showing my media choice (i.e., Sirius, radio, etc.). Lastly, I would have preferred the song playing over the radio station. The placement right now shows the radio station on top in large display with the song playing below it in a very small display which is very hard to see when driving. As I said before, and despite these little issues, this car is really a joy to drive. I'm very happy with my purchase.
