Automatic Safety Issue

Has an automatic stop feature which poses a serious problem while overriding your judgement to overtake a vehicle or pulling out or in front traffic. Horrible sensor or way too sensitive. Fix that and it’s a good vehicle

Defective Driver Attention Warning

Driver Attention Warning consistently gives false positive audible warning which cannot be disabled and which are a distraction from driving and annoying. Ridiculous reasons for dysfunction of the warning are cited in manual including the driver being too short, too tall, wearing certain glasses (which may be prescription glasses) and so many more.

runs well, but I’ve still had to pay for maintenance under 20000miles.

Works well, but the windshield washer fluid seems to finish too fast.

Hybrid could be better

I was expecting a hybrid system where the electric motor would power the car as long as the battery was charged even if the car needed to go uphill or accelerate slightly. The only time the car is in EV mode is when it's breaking or on a flat road at 40mph or less. I live in the Poconos, many curvy hill roads and this EV battery is almost always fully charged. After getting the Tuscan I traded in my 2022 Honda Insight Hybrid Limited for the Sonata Hybrid Limited. 5The Honda has as a dedicated EV selector button and I thought I was getting a system similar to that. Hyundai Hybrids need a dedicated EV selector button, allowing the vehicle to run in EV and still be charged with regenerative breaking, and will only revert to ECO/Gas when EV button is off, the battery is 3/4 drained, or the vehicle accelerates past 60 mph.

My first ever Hyundai

I have been a Toyota and Dodge owner for past 3 decades. This time I wanted to switch to something different and Hybrid. I wanted a fully loaded car without breaking the bank. When I saw the 2025 Tuscon Hybrid at the show room. I fell in love with the panel, sun roof and the space. Not to miss the Looks.The car offered me everything I was looking for. I have had it for 1 year and I love it. Other than the rear indicator I have no complains. May be Hyundai puts a fancy rear indicator at the trunk level.

Luxury and Economy

A disappointing, late-minute maintenance surprise

I can't give 5 stars because the day before I was going to drive my Tucson on a 2,700-mile road trip, (a Saturday when the dealership is closed for the weekend) the check-engine light came on (just over 10,000 miles on odometer), forcing me to take another vehicle on the trip. I won't know what the Tucson malfunction is until I return from my trip and take it to the dealer

Many good things but gas mileage is fraudulent

We love the driveability of the car and the cabin is comfortable. There are several small annoying things about the car (which I will detail later) but the main issue is the gas mileage. The hybrid states 35 mgp highway and city. We are averaging 31 over the first year. This is unacceptable when you pay so much more for the hybrid. Our driving is half city and half country roads. As to the small annoying issues: 1) the cabin can not keep a comfortable temperature in either heating or cooling. The air blowing on you varies wildly in temperature with just a degree difference. 2) too many "nanny" features - it will tell us to "consider taking a break" every 10 minutes just because (we think) we hold the wheel at the bottom.
