Quiet comfort

I am enjoying the Santa Fe Hybrid so far. The ride is extremely smooth and it has so many cool features. I am getting around 30 mpg, but I am on the road driving highways and interstate most of the time. When I am in stop and go traffic the fuel efficiency is even better. I love the Apple Car Play and the sound system is fantastic. A couple things I would change would be where the cruise control button is. I have accidentally hit that with my hand because it is where I naturally hold the wheel. Also, I would switch where the drink holders are with the charging station, but not sure how that would work.

Well done, Hyundai. Well done.

This is my first Hyundai. When the brand first became available in the late 80's they were considered low-end disposable vehicles. They have come a long way since then. The Santa Fe is surprisingly luxurious and refined. Comfort exceeds expectations, surpassing the Cadillac STS I occasionally drive. Fit and finish are excellent. The available tech is on par with what I have experienced with Toyota and GM vehicles. Having owned Toyotas for the last 20 years and watched their quality decline, it was time for a change. With Hyundai's warranty, styling, comfort, and build quality, it was a no-brainer to switch to something new and innovative. Good job, Hyundai.

we have been very happy with the Santa Fe Hybrid.

We're happy with the vehicle, with the exception of the "consider taking a break warning" that occurs periodically for no apparent reason. Hyundai should consider changing this so the owner could turn is on or off as an option. Other than that we're pleased with the gas mileage, storage space, front window size and comfortable ride.

Extremely happy with this car

It's not perfect, but this car is as close to it as any car we've owned. We bought it for the front seat leg room which was the largest of any vehicle in this class and price range, but we go so much more than we had hoped. The 6 passenger seats gives us flexibility when the family is in town and when they aren't, we have a ton of cargo space. The car is roomy, feels very safe to drive and drives comfortably. What more could you want in a car?

Great other than one problem at 3 weeks old

After looking at a lot of competitors we decided on the Santa Fe Hybrid. Initially very pleased but at 3 weeks old the dash display went bonkers and then blank. After that the vehicle was dead and we had to call Hyundai to have it hauled to a local dealer. It took a week for them to finally figure out the issue, and get a sensor replaced before we got the Santa Fe back. Since then it has been flawless and we love the mileage, even on the highway. It does take a while to understand the digital display and all the controls and options. Disappointed that we can not use Google Maps with Android Auto ((while phone USB Connected) and use the Vehicle built in WiFi Hotspot.

Our Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid

A superb driving machine getting 35 mpg on average. One criticism is figuring out how to use the radio, which requires deep learning to retrieve the stations we prefer. We went for the Calligraphy model, which has all the bells and whistles of our former Genesis GV80. (Except for the massage feature for the driver's seat.

This vehicle is great because I am not vaccinated.

I was not an idiot to get the jab/ vaccination. I never wore a mask inside stores either. So I need a vehicle to help me navigate around all these vaccinated drivers who are all insane. They do not know how to drive or operate or think properly. Right? Plus, we do not know what they will die from for the next 40 years. They could die while driving and kill a real life not vaccinated person. It's terrible to live in a world full of vaccinated morons.

Just OK

Not having a spare tire sucks. For the price you would think they could afford that. People riding in the back complain about the air conditioner in the back not putting out enough cold air.

We love everything about this car!

We feel completely surrounded by luxury and find the car so comfortable! The love how it drives and handles and now always look forward now to long drives. We also really like the quality and design of the interior, the boxy shape of the exterior, the color and 2 tone interior, the rear bucket seats and all the automation. The safety features are fantastic and the driving assistance features work spectacularly! The roadside assistance is also terrific. It was easy to connect to someone and the response time was fast. If we could make any changes, they would be: Add passenger seat lumbar support. Line the hard plastic interior compartments. Combine the two glove compartments into one. Electronic forward/back button for the rear bucket seats. No cup holders on the rear doors; they have lead to spillage when opening and closing the door. Otherwise, this is the best car we've ever owned and hope to have it for many, many years! Thank you for putting together such a wonderful and fun vehicle!

2025 Santa Fe

Very nice driving experience overall, but I suggest these changes/additions: 1- more driver leg room (length) 2- can’t use cruise control with Polarized sunglasses on 3- need roof side hooks in rear area to hang clothes or a clothes bar 4- cover of arm rest has already come loose or hinges/prongs have failed 5- need a better color selection - all our dealer seemed to ever have available is black, gray, & some white 6- Start button needs a definitive light. Is it on or is it off!? 7- cushier seats would be nice, at least on the high end models (ours is a Calligraphy)
