I love this car!

This is my favorite car I've ever owned. It drives so smoothly. I love the big screen. I love the interior and some of the bills and whistles at it offers on the economical trim. I also love the hybrid engine because of the gas mileage. It's amazing.

Steering wheel doesn’t allow a clear view of instruments/ gages.

Not happy with service from dealer. Dealer did not have spare parts in inventory. Took 7 days to replace Domain control unit and program it.

Love the car, HATE not being able to use cruise with sunglasses

I really love the vehicle for the most part. I love the look both interior and exterior, and the comfort and feel is great. Sometimes the heated seats won't work and I can't figure out why, which is frustrating and will likely ask the dealer next time I'm in for maintenance. I am nervous about not having a spare tire. But the main issue I have with the vehicle and the reason my rating isn't higher is that I can't wear sunglasses and use cruise control. It beeps and turns off saying I'm not paying attention to the road when I am. I've tried adjusting the seat and wheel and using different kinds of sunglasses and it happens every time no matter what I try. Luckily I do not do a ton of long distance traveling so I don't need to use cruise control super often, but when I do it is extremely frustrating. If i did more long distance driving I would need to get a new car, that's how bad it is. I have read many other people who have the same issue online, it is crazy to me that this technology hasn't been fixed with an update or recall yet. My eyes are very sensitive to light so driving when it's bright without sunglasses is almost more dangerous than what this alert is trying to prevent. I would give the vehicle 4.5 to 5 stars if it wasn't for this issue, but it is so frustrating that it is worth removing 2 starts just because of that one problem. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE SO I CAN ENJOY THIS OTHERWISE FANTASTIC CAR.

Terrific Vehicle

While I was little saddened to give up my beloved Hyundai Sonata recently, I have been overjoyed with its replacement: the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. This is one of the most impressive vehicles I have ever owned. The styling, comfort, fuel efficiency, and ease of manuverability is nothing less than amazing.

best bang for buck on the market

Easy to operate. Great gas milage for size but terrible manual if you are looking for specific concerns such as maintenance schedule or how to operate remote start.

Hate it or love it … not sure.

The engine or something tends to growl like or rev while stopped. Not sure what this is or if it is normal for a hybrid but it doesn’t seem it. Continues to do it daily. The screen and the technology system is probably the most annoying. When changing a song it doesn’t catch up to changing it, which prompts you to look and take your eyes off the road. It’s irritating to be about 6 songs ahead and the screen displays 6 songs behind because it won’t change. The other day the screen wouldn’t even come on and stayed black while I drove. Very unsafe if you ask me. Also annoying that I paid for this model with upgraded technology for the technology to be anything but an upgrade, if anything I’d say it needs an upgrade. The interior is beautiful looking and that’s what sold me but seems like the outside interior is the seller and what’s inside they forgot a few screws. I’ve had a few new cars with touchy breaks. By touchy I mean I almost got whip lash from how sensitive they were when I pressed on them, basically break checked myself but those bad boys worked and they worked quick. For an SUV in this car, I have to flintstones my foot to the asphalt just to stop at the stop sign. I have to press so hard a break check isn’t a thing. They aren’t sensitive they seem worn out like your grandmas favorite robe. It is kind of scary sometimes if you have to break quick because it take a second or two to come to a completely stop. My heart has dropped a few times already.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5/5 — Loving My 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Calligraphy

I’ve owned my 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Calligraphy for about three months now, and overall, I’m incredibly pleased. The space and comfort are excellent — it feels roomy without being oversized, and the seats are supportive for long drives. The ride is smooth, quiet, and reliable so far, and I really appreciate the included service plan that makes maintenance simple. The design is beautiful inside and out — modern, intuitive, and well thought out. I especially love how the charging ports are laid out for the front seats; everything feels organized and convenient. There are plenty of ports for everyone, which is a huge plus for a family vehicle. The back-of-the-leg rest for the front seats is one of my favorite comfort touches — such a thoughtful detail! I do wish there was lumbar support for the front passenger seat, though, and better air vents for the 2nd and 3rd rows. It would be great if those passengers had their own climate controls too. I’ve already had my first oil change, and the process was quick and easy. Overall, the Santa Fe Hybrid has exceeded my expectations in space, comfort, and quality. It’s stylish, efficient, and family-friendly — nearly perfect with just a few small tweaks I’d love to see in future models.
