⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5/5 — Loving My 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Calligraphy

I’ve owned my 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Calligraphy for about three months now, and overall, I’m incredibly pleased. The space and comfort are excellent — it feels roomy without being oversized, and the seats are supportive for long drives. The ride is smooth, quiet, and reliable so far, and I really appreciate the included service plan that makes maintenance simple. The design is beautiful inside and out — modern, intuitive, and well thought out. I especially love how the charging ports are laid out for the front seats; everything feels organized and convenient. There are plenty of ports for everyone, which is a huge plus for a family vehicle. The back-of-the-leg rest for the front seats is one of my favorite comfort touches — such a thoughtful detail! I do wish there was lumbar support for the front passenger seat, though, and better air vents for the 2nd and 3rd rows. It would be great if those passengers had their own climate controls too. I’ve already had my first oil change, and the process was quick and easy. Overall, the Santa Fe Hybrid has exceeded my expectations in space, comfort, and quality. It’s stylish, efficient, and family-friendly — nearly perfect with just a few small tweaks I’d love to see in future models.

So far so good!

Santa Fe is comfortable to drive and has alot of power, which surprised us since it is a hybrid. You don’t feel It “ shut down” like a lot of hybrids I have ridden in. Very comfortable and controls are easy to use. Wish there was some type of small storage compartment near the driver cause I miss my sunglass holder I have had in several other vehicles. Awkward to reach across the car to retrieve them when driving.

I am mostly happy with the car but felt the lack of certain features are petty. Garage door opener, driver seat/mirror memories for additional drivers which is supported otherwise, UV light in the compartment that is still there. Safety features like the side view cameras on the turn signals should not be a trade-off for lower modeled cars.

Phone battery gets depleted. It bings and indicates I should take a break. Need to turn off that particular bing. Tired needed to be inflated while on a long trip. Two were at 25 psi.

Creaking sound around right tire

There has been a creaking sound around the right tire. It's most noticeable just after engaging the Drive process when car in stationary. Also noticeable when break is applied when in slow speed. I plan to bring my car to the dealership once I get back into town. Also notice that the plastic string that holds the fuel tank cover got unhinged from the metal panel. Makes one wonder if it's that piece was flimsily assembled.

the car design needs improvement

the mileage is always almost 100 miles off what it was advertized and what it says on fill up the seats are too long so shorter legs go numb on long drives the screens to modify heat, radio telephone or anything else are too tiny and are accidents waiting to happen when driving the windows always stay fogged and wet when on a highway and its windy the noise is loud and im hard of hearing the controls all over the steering wheel area are accidently initiated sometimes i dont even know how or wahy a feature got activated when driving

8,000 miles and going

We are incredibly happy with our Santa Fe Hybrid. With 8,000+ miles, we are now averaging 38 mpg and everything has remained very solid. No creaks or noises and the interior is fantastic. We did have to have the front grill camera replaced due to moisture, but it was a quick replacement and covered through the warranty. What particularly surprises us is the quietness of the engine when driving. Hyundai has done a great job with the noise insulation from both engine and road noise. I'll personally also say that I love that it looks like nothing else on the road. After owning this SUV, it has become so much more obvious how much all the other SUVs on the market look so similar. We went with the Atlantis Blue calligraphy and love the look - yes, even the back! Kudos to Hyundai.

Aesthetically Pleasing and Comfortable With Some Quirks

Don't get me wrong, I like the vehicle, but the things I don't like about it really bother me. I feel like all features should be upgrades from previous models, and there are several features in my 2013 Santa Fe that are missing from the 2025, which is just disappointing for me personally. Others probably won't even notice. It drives well, but it often feels like it's pulling back (or jumping?) when applying the accelerator after sitting at a stop sign or light. The highway milage is vastly under what is advertised. I thought the gearshift placement would bother me, but I actually love it now. Overall, it's a smooth ride and meets most of my road trip needs!

The 2025 Santa Fe is roomy and comfortable. It is easy to drive and has a smooth ride. The touch screen is easy to use. With the third row seats down, there is plenty of cargo space.
