Glass is Horrible & Unsafe

Within two weeks of purchasing the palisade, I noticed multiple chips in the windshield. There were also some odd scratches that I could not make sense of. I had not driven behind a vehicle, had not been near anywhere sand was. I checked the windshield wipers and they were not defect. I reached out to my sales person and he was supposed to reconnect with me and he never did. A month or so later I reached out to Hyundai Montgomery and someone finally connected with me after about two more months. They finally agreed to replace the windshield after I showed them even more pictures of chips and more scratches. Then, a few months later, as recently as a week and a half ago, I was driving up the interstate and heard a loud boom. I thought a tire blew, but it had not. As it turns out, the moonroof exploded, and I was not hit by anything nor around anything that could have caused the damage. I did then start researching and realize this is a common problem in Hyundai‘s vehicles. I read about the class action lawsuit settled in 2022. I read about a current class action lawsuit going on in Canada for the same issue. I read about multiple cases where the sunroof or moonroof did this. To me, this is absolutely unacceptable that Hyundai is still having this problem with their vehicles. You all need to either get a different glass manufacturer or get to the bottom of the problem. Due to these issues, I am asking Hyundai to buy back my car because I’ve now had two major glass issues in a matter of six months.

Alot of small issues

Doors dont lock if car is on, so if I needed to run in and out I can't even lock the door If you leave windows down alarm keeps going off If you remote start your car and then get in the car cuts off even if it hasn't been 10 minutes 3rd row seat belt chime goes off even if no one in the seats

Best value for money in mid size SUVs. I also own. 2026 VMW X7 and 2021 Mercedes G63. I also owned a 2022 Palisade.

It could be better

I really wanted to love our 2025 Hyundai Palisade… and there are things about it that are genuinely great… but overall, it just misses the mark in ways that matter… The ride itself is comfortable, no argument there… the seats are fantastic, especially with the heating and cooling in both the front and rear… that’s been a lifesaver on more than one Florida day… and the heated steering wheel? Absolute bliss… those comfort features are honestly the highlight of the whole vehicle… Where it falls short is in the actual driving experience… when you try to accelerate quickly, it gets surprisingly jerky… almost like the internal gears can’t quite keep up, and instead of a smooth transition you’re getting this awkward lurching forward that feels unnecessary for a brand new model… it’s not the kind of thing you expect in something advertised as refined… I also wish the vehicle sat a little higher… it doesn’t have that commanding view of the road I’m used to, and I find myself adjusting the seat or shifting around more than I should just to compensate… The biggest frustration, though, is the backing system… the camera makes things look perfectly straight, but half the time I get out and realize I’m crooked… or angled… or somehow magically both… it’s not intuitive enough to trust completely, and when you’re depending on that tech in tight spaces, it really matters… And speaking of trust… I hate admitting it, but I don’t feel fully confident in the crash detection or automatic stopping features… something about it doesn’t feel as responsive or protective as I’d prefer… and that’s a rough realization in a vehicle that’s supposed to inspire confidence… There are definitely things the Palisade gets right… the comfort is solid, the interior is thoughtful, and it does have some nice touches… but overall? For me, it just doesn’t deliver the smoothness, accuracy, or sense of safety I expected… it could be so much better… and I honestly wish it was… because I really wanted this SUV to be “the one”… but right now, it’s not quite there…

The car gets real good milage nice comfort. My only complaint is the ceramic coating isn't very good just a pain to clean and i only have 8000 miles on it

Way too many things we can't disable

I want to totally disable the lane assist, brake assist and seat belt warning but from what I've read it may not be possible. To use the cruise control is a difficult task and taking your eyes off the road to see the itty bitty icons on the driver's screen is hazardous. If you want to set your speed a few miles over the posted speed limit then before you can do it you need to be at the posted speed limit? That's ridiculous. You should be able to set it where your existing speed is so that you can stay in the flow of traffic especially on the highway.

Great Overall Vehicle! One big issue.

Every included feature, styling, and warranty is perfect, with the exception of one very large complaint - the Navigation. This system (like Kia’s) is pretty terrible. Multiple prompts to get the correct location. The nav only provides one option to the location and doesn’t consider other options with traffic, etc. no AI integrated tools. It’s a pretty bare bones nav experience, which is very disappointing
