MAY BE MY BEST CAR EVER

I traded in my 2022 Kona, which I consider the best car I ever owned, for a 2026. So far, the new Kona has generally surpassed my expectations. Although it gets fewer MPG than the 2022, I am gladly trading that factor for the greater height of the '26, which made it easier to get in and out of. That was the key reason, along with the better tech. It's truly a bit more comfortable, and the heated steering wheel is a nicety. I only have 1700 miles on it, so the jury is still out on performance and reliability, but, having driven the 2022 for a couple of years, I am excited to take the new baby out for some major trips. Next up, hopefully soon, a hybrid Kona as soon as one becomes available for me.

HUMAN AND VETERAN KILLER ON FOUR WHEELS

My Hyundai Kona tried to kill me on the freeway several times due to cruise control malfunctions. Kona slammed on brakes at 80 miles an hour with semi, and two vehicles behind me. Luckily the semi driver was paying attention was able to blare horn and swerve prior to making contact and killing me on the freeway making a veteran pancake. This Hyundai experience has been a living nightmare from start to finish, from purchase to lies from the dealer who "conducted" inspections that were not conducted at all. Hyundai as far as l am concerned could care less whether I am dead in the car or not. I will be taking to all platforms to ensure the world knows what kind of vehicle and what kind of service Hyundai provides. You pitch this customer first brand, yet I have been held captive since the purchase of your vehicle with constant waiting games and ignorance. DO NOT BUY HYUNDAI! DO NOT BUY HYUNDAI! The vehicle will try to kill you while using cruise control and the company that sold you the defective car will not care either way. Run from this company, run from this vehicle as far as your can. I have read several other reviews online as well from 25-26 and Hyundai is aware of the problem and refuses to do anything or care about it all.

Disappointed

This is my second Kona.I LOVED the 2024…but really surprised and disappointed that this model does not have automatic seat adjustments.I blame my salesman for not bringing that to my attention! I NEVER would have taken this car.Aside from that I do like everything else.

I leased a 2024 Hyundai Kona Limited, and I absolutely loved it. It came with so many premium features, including LED headlights, and turn signal . Front and back. Digital Key, built-in GPS navigation, and other conveniences that made it feel like a truly well-equipped vehicle. I recently purchased a 2026 Hyundai Kona Limited, expecting it to be an upgrade. Instead, it feels like a downgrade. I was very disappointed to discover that it has halogen headlights instead of LED headlights, no Digital Key, and no built-in GPS navigation. You're expected to rely on Apple CarPlay or Android Auto for navigation, which isn't always convenient. It's hard to understand why features that were standard on my 2024 Limited were removed from the 2026 Limited, especially considering the amount of money I spent. I expected newer technology and improvements, not fewer features. Overall, I feel the 2024 Kona Limited was a much better value. If I had known these features were no longer included, I would have kept my leased 2024 instead of purchasing the 2026. I honestly wish I could return the 2026 and get my 2024 Kona Limited back.

Love my car!

I love my car. The only problem I had was my AppleCar play not wanting to connect once since I’ve had it and it works great now. I love that it vibrates my steering wheel and makes an alerting noise whenever someone/something is behind me. I love that it shows me how much air is in all of my tires. I love all of my cars features on it.

Previous vehicle had some problems. Sunroof didn’t work properly, sometimes vehicle wouldn’t start. So far these have not appeared.
