My first new car

I really enjoy the three vehicle modes Normal, Sport(stick shift) Smart). ,It's great in gas and I love the warning alerts it has on the side mirrors when switching lanes it alerts your blind spot.

Didn’t come with a spare! Check yours out if you decide to buy.

This car is fun to drive, especially in sport mode! It has a lot of pep. I can switch it over to sport mode and it will jump right up and TAKE OFF. If it is in sport mode, it acts like a race car. When you start slowing down, it’ll be revving like it’s a horse at the starting line wanting to bust out running. I went from driving a suburban to this…it’s quite different lol. For the most part I’ve had no issues. I did feel a little cheated when it didn’t have a spare in the N line. It was supposed to be a higher quality than the other Elantra’s (which I checked for a spare in, and the one I looked in, had a spare), but when I bought my N line car off the showroom floor, it didn’t have a spare tire and I didn’t know it until I had already bought it. I hope the Hyundai company will remedy that for me. If they do, I would give a better review. It has things that are may be better than average on a car like this, but that takes it down a lot in my opinion, which is why I rated it as average. That’s my biggest complaint so far. It only has 6,000 miles on it right now, so I can’t tell you how the durability will be. One thing to watch out for if you get this car is the low clearance. It WILL scrape on the front fender if the road has much of a dip coming off a driveway. I’ve had it happen several times in town. I pulled out of a Casey’s parking lot onto the street and it scraped, and out of our electric company’s driveway onto the Main Street in our town and scraped again. I have to be very careful. It’s too low to pull up to a parking space with a curb. It will scrape those, too. This isn’t a deal breaker for me, but if it is for you, go with a different car. Last thing I’ll mention is the trunk space. It has a LOT. I was surprised at how much room it has.

Almost perfect

I like the car a lot, it is a smooth ride, and the backseat is spacious. The hands free option is actually very good compared to other cars. The gas mileage is excellent as advertised. My only knock on this car is the annoying slant of the back window, it’s super awkward especially for shorter people. It often gives you a blind spot when going down hill.

Elantra Sport

I currently lease 3 Hyundai vehicles. 2023 Sonata, 2024 Elantra SEL, and 2025 Elantra Sport. They have been great vehicles, only needing the required maintenance. My issue is with the 2025 Elantra and the decision by Hyundai to take the Blue Link out as a standard feature. I personally feel it was a big mistake. We rely on the Blue Link features on my other vehicles. Please return the Blue Link feature as a standard feature for 2026 ..
