Feels Cheap and is poor quality

Company and car issues make this vehicle a regret for me personally . It isn’t worth the hassle . I’m hard working and would like to enjoy something I pay a lot of money for but this car and company have made me severely regret getting this car .

I bought my car new . The gas mileage is great, we have traveled out of state several times now and I'm still amazed at the gas mileage we get.

Average Vehicle Average Price

The vehicle is average nothing bad really except some of the things you can't turn off and that Hyundai says are " security". I want to have the option to turn off security features or not. The gets great gas mileage when you are in smart mode. I have been averaging 51 MPG on the highway, and it doesn't take a lot of money to fill up, but the inside is hard for anyone "big" or "tall" to get in and out of like my husband. Overall, it is an okay car nothing that wows me about it and I will be trading it soon for the new Santa Fe which is bigger, and I will feel safer in. the Elantra is so light that if you have strong storms, it will almost blow you off the highway. For a beginner vehicle it's okay with the fuel efficiency alone that you get. we have taken it on many road trips because it gets better gas miles then my husband's sonata n line. I do wish the Elantra back seat was not so laid back and I wish the opening of the trunk was built in a larger format. It cleans up easy and the Bluetooth is great.

miss sitting higher as with our 3 previous Hyundai Tucson & Sante Fe

We rarely drive. The vehicle has only 4000 miles in 1 year. I plan on service in September as we are driving to California in October

Love Hyundai vehicles!

I began driving Sonatas in 2005 when I got a job involving a lot of travel. Now I drive Elantras since retirement. Excellent gas mileage, safety and comfort, even for 5 people!

Not recommend

Back window too small. No storage compartments. No cup holder in backseat. The backseat folds as a bench seat, would be better as 60/40. Backseat head rest don't adjust, it's like a bump on the seat. Can't raise window wipers while hood down, passenger side won't raise when hood is up. This problem makes it difficult to change wiper blades. AC vents are poorly placed.

Good car- But

I pretty much like the car-BUT. I have an issue where I get some kind of dust throughout the car. I have taken it to the dealer several times, they cannot find what is causing it and will not do anything more to help me. I am very disappointed with Hyundai for not correcting this problem.

Great car

great driving vehicle. Safe. The multicamera alert system that surrounds the entire car makes it seem safe. love that when I use my blinker, I can see the side road on the dash!

Was in an accident my airbags did not deploy

I reached the company they claimed they didint have access to the vehicle I tried to reach back the process took so like the car was taken doe to the total loss and full coverage claim just had a horrible experience

Full of features for the price; great on gas; lacking in build quality

This car is packed with features for the price I paid. Most competitors charge much more for the features that come standard on my car. The main drawback is the quality of the cars construction. For example when I close the door, it feels/sounds hollow. Also, there is a lot of road noise when driving 55 mph or more.
