My Honda Pilot suits my lifestyle needs.
Honestly I (and my wife) have had only 2 automobile brands in our 48 years of marriage plus 4 years of dating before that…..Toyota and Honda. I actually traded a very nice ‘21 Toyota Highlander XSE for my ‘21 Honda Pilot SE AWD. The main reason was interior roominess especially the cargo space behind the backseats. With the 3rd row seating tucked down flat there is ample room for us to travel with our 2 grand kids for a week to Gatlinburg, Pidgeon Forge, or North Myrtle Beach every year at least once!
Also, the Pilot is very dependable mechanically and gets upward of 27-28 miles per gallon on cruise control. I also enjoy the comfort of the cabin and since I put a set of Michelin Defender 2 tires on her the Pilot’s moderately firm suspension rides and handles very nicely in all types of weather. I now have 123K miles on the Pilot, keep up with all required maintenance and have had absolutely problems or issues with it. I do like the refreshed body style for ‘25/26 but for now my ‘21 is still good enough!
