Fun car

Love the car, felt right on our test drive. Only negative I have (and this goes for ALL car companies), WHY is so hard to find info in owners’ manuals? Had to call the service dept to get directions for turning off the fold down back-up mirrors. Key info is HOW to neutralize the side mirrors to reset them, which is missing.

does not live up to hype

I bought the vehicle and had complaints from the beginning. The help from the dealership was essentially non-existent. the instruction manual was un readable. The sales process was poor in that the sales manager did not explain what I was not getting on my expensive purchase. The missing items (in my mind) were standard items (in my mind) and i found that they were not on my vehicle. issues? The car was not detailed prior to delivery and once sent back to dealer and returned, found that it still want detailed. When the car is stopped and there is dampness in the air or on the ground, there is a lurching sound when the car starts to move. There are major inconsistencies with the locking of the vehicle, the rear deck opening hands free, and as seemingly minor things combine, i have a general sense of this being a bad purchase and i am significantly disappointed. I think that the Lexus brand is a much better solution and I should have given strong consideration to its competitive vehicle in the same class.

All seems to be well for now. I do have a minor problem with the passenger door closing properly, and have a slight squeak when backing up. I still have a great deal to learn about proper use of all the bells and whistles

My first visit to Korea was in 1990. I could never imagine then a vehicle with this level of quality and sophistication coming from this country. But as I quickly learned never underestimate the Korean drive and determination when they set their sights on a goal.

Nice Ride With Too Many Tech Options

I love to drive the GV70 but too many of the tech features are too difficult to be useful or accessible. My feeling is that carmakers are more interested in adding features to the sticker than they are in making the cars easy to drive.

nice car needs some improvement in the cockpit

The lack of auto locking when leaving the car is frustrating. The lights for the various controls are hard to see in daylight. Green lights would be more visible in daylight. Actual buttons for dash controls would be helpful, the digital buttons and the dim lights on them make it hard to determine if they have been activated. Buttons for radio presets would also be preferred, swiping thru menus is a pain. Auto stop needs to go!!

My 2nd GV70

I did got down to 2.5 turbo prestige sport. Couple items that I thought would be in this package but were not, example - backseat heaters. The seats are better than the 2022 I had.
