Great experience at Santa Monica Genesis!

I am very happy with my car. It is very comfortable and easy to operate. I especially like the seat heater and massage. The safety features, including the side cameras are a great addition and give me a strong sense of security.

Luxury Performance

I've had my GV70 for 6 months and the performance has been excellent. The acceleration, gas mileage, beauty/design, features, ease of navigation of driver interface, all exceed my expectations and seem to be more price competitive than other luxury vehicles. Highly recommend!

Made the move from BMW to Genesis

The search for a midsize SUV brought me to Genesis. The GV 70 checked all of the boxes. Good enginer reponse, fun to drive, Legroom, trunk room, luxury interior, stylish exterior at a very reasonable price. No regrets in making the move from BMW to Genesis.

2025 GV70 twin turbo

Overall, I love my GV70 IT is fun little SUV. In sports mode you really feel the 3.5 liter twin turbo kick in’ . Not the best on gas , even in economy mode, but didn’t purchase it with gas mileage in mind. Really like the quilted leather seat in dark gray with red stitching.

Lack of Audio Display

It would be great if you could see the music details (song, artist, etc) within the dashboard display. It doesn't need to take the full screen, but it could be below the digital MPH display or something similar. These details appear when you change the station, but I would prefer that it stays up permanently. Also allow for radio/music details to appear on the far right side of the main display when ApplePlay is active.

Awesome ride

I have enjoyed driving this car. My favorite car up to date. It is the perfect size. I love the fact that they will pick up my car for warranty work. Keeps me from driving to dealership which is an hour away. I get compliments on this vehicle from all my friends

Feature filled, over complicated rocket!

What drew us to the Genesis, besides its great looks, was the terrific factory warranty. All new cars are way over complicated with features many of us will never use, but will cost a fortune to repair if/when they fail. Genesis has the guts to stand behind its products for more than 36 months when that time comes.

Vehicle experience was great! Dealership employees were helpful.

The comfort level in this car is a 10 out of 10. Thankful for all of the safety features. I love the seat massager and heaters. The back seat also offers another level of comfort with the reclining seats for the taller passenger. I’ve never been happier with a car. Thank you Genesis Santa Monica!

Excellent Ride

Overall we love our Genesis GV70. The handling and performance of the car is excellent and we love the look. It has very nice features like the remote vehicle check and safeguards you get with the Genesis App as well as the 360 view when parking and the lane assist. The massage on the driver side seat is also excellent. Nothing is ever perfect so our recommendations would center around the difficulty in using the voice navigation system as well as the gear selector which is a round knob which doesn’t provide any feedback when it engages in drive or reverse. There is also a glare on the front window when the sun is out from the pop up area that is very distracting. Finally, the cargo cover leaves a large gap between the back seat and the start of the cover which is very inconvenient. We do love our Genesis and these issues are not show stoppers but we felt it necessary to mention.

My favorite car

When I first saw this car in 2021, it was love at first sight! It took me two and a half years to finally buy one. But now I can say that I am the proud owner of a GV70! Every time I sit in the driver’s seat and fet behind that wheel, I am in heaven!

There are some features that should be standard for a luxury vehicle at this price, even though there are different trim levels. I had a list of several of them, but as usual when put on the spot, I can’t recall them at the moment. But I have owned three Genesis in total and there should be a few more features to separate it from a Hyundai or a kia.
