It's my second and I love it.
I got rid of a 2009 Range Rover to jump into a 2012 Chevy Volt with high mileage that was basically given to me. I have never looked back! Even with the limited EV range before the engine kicked in of the 2012 Volt (20-25 miles) I found that i never needed gas because my commute was short and errands are all pretty close. I proudly drove that car for 2-3 years without any need of service, including no oil changes, and only two tanks of gas! When a freak hail storm totaled it, I went and purchased Gen 2 2016 Volt with 35k miles that I have been driving over a year and have not needed service, oil, or even fuel beyond what was in the car when I received it!
Driving is the definition of excitement. After getting over the initial shock of not making a sound as I blow the doors off loud fart-can sounding cars and egocentric tall-truck people, I now revel in the sound of silence while driving. I live on a hill, while pulling out to go up it to work, I wake no one, no matter how fast I go. Inside is quiet as well, there is not a transmission so there is vehicle trembling while driving. The cockpit is yours to fill with Bose's sound and it is fantastic.
