A great car
Purchased this car in January of 2015. Breaks and tires went 70,000 miles. Put a resonator on it in 2018. An exhaust solenoid switch in 2021. 95,000 miles, 11 years.
It is quite rusty for a modern vehicle. Washed it very regularly. Recently replaced the passenger fender with a pre painted aftermarket. Looks pretty good. The paint peeled off the rims. Looks a little cheesy. Oh, put a battery in it in 2021. And the TPS batteries failed in 2021, right after the tire shop said I didn’t need to replace them when they mounted the new tires. Certainly have read and heard a lot of bad things about this car. Definitely getting some lifter or timing chain rattle now. Sounds like the old iron duke. Oil changes never exceeded 5,000 miles. Most about 4,000 miles. Driver side doors are rusting on the inside at the bottom. Probably clean that up this summer. Try to save the door skin.
All fluids have been changed per maintenance schedule. Fluid flushing was done for cooling, transmission and breaks.
Really been an excellent vehicle, mechanically. Just rusty. And the little 4 cylinder? Surprisingly strong.
