Best car I ever owned.
I bought this car used when it came off a 3 yr. lease with 30K miles on it. Besides oil and tires, I put a battery in it at 125K, rear brakes at 110K and front brakes yesterday at 146K. I now need rear shocks. The best thing I ever did was get rid of the run flat tires. This car rides so nice now, it's always handled well. The run flats were hard as rocks. The brakes are by the far the best I've ever seen. When I told my mechanic I was thinking of trading it in he said why? The only thing that ever fails on these is the tranny and that is rare. I have a standard and he said this car is good for 300K. Even with 145K on it I use less than a quart of oil every 10K miles. It runs exactly the same as the day I bought it. My wealthy brother came to visit me last year and I loaned him my car. He said "wow" I've never driven one of these before.
I've driven lots of standards, but didn't really like the feel of the clutch when I first got it, but I'm used to it now. The shifter is great.
