Dishonest or unskilled
Told my daughter she needed an alternator and battery. Went so far as to tell her all the numbers of the alternator test. Said they installed a new battery to test it. Said the car still didn't start.
I had to towed to home, jumped it off and actually tested the alternator with a meter. 14.4V. Swapped out the battery and all is good.
Spent $179 instead of $950 they wanted to charge.
This is why no one trusts auto repair places.

So disappointed ☹️
I paid $535 to have my car repaired only to pick it up and the vehicle was worst when I got it back. They told me the cause was because it need a water pump. That they could have addressed .They said the would put it on the diagnostic machine. Then they tell me they dont repair water pumps. They let me drive off with engine light and electrical notification on. I will never recommend this shop to anyone. I’m so disappointed. I didn’t ask them to make things right. I just wanted to be done with them ☹️
