Oil change appointment
My wife had her Hyundai Tucson scheduled for an oil change on 12/30/23. She even received several text messages to remind her of the appointment. When she arrived she noticed the doors were locked. A salesperson came out to greet her, asked if he could help. She told him that she had a appointment for an oil change, he said our service department is closed. In my opinion that is very terrible customer service, a big inconvenience for her. Your sales department is awesome but this is twice that we have had horrible experience in your service department.

Love the car, not a great experience.
This one star rating has nothing to do with my dealer, Tommy, who was absolutely fantastic! He was very nice and extremely professional. Bill in finance was horrible. After I bought a $64,000 car I was talked into buying the warranties which equates to almost $8,000. When I decided I wanted to cancel the warranties (less than a day later) Bill was extremely short with me over the phone.
The car I bought also had a defect which was brought up and talked about multiple times during the sale with both Tommy and Bill. When I returned a few days after the purchase to sign papers to get rid of the warranties (paperwork which he never provided me a copy of) Bill acted like he knew nothing about the car's defect (basically calling me a liar). After he consulted with Tommy in front of me, who was honest about remembering the defect, he told Tommy to go away when he tried to make friendly conversation with me. Bill then told me that service would contact me when a replacement part was in.

Disappointed
Purchased my new 2022 Santa fe with a trade in earlier this year. Dealt with annoying and aggressive sales tactics in the beginning, however all seemed well when we were in person with Brian Shangle.
When we did financing an optional $300-$400 paint charge was added on and not explained. When I asked about it the finance manager said your salesman should have explained this. When I asked the salesman he said it was part of the cost of the vehicle and could not be taken off. All the paperwork clearly said optional.
When we discussed this more I was told I would be given all weather mats to make it right for the inconvenience of the optional charge added on. Mats kept getting pushed out from being “on back order” for months after we purchased our vehicle.
Never heard back, and I’m pretty disappointed overall with the experience.

This dealership is the epitome of fraud in the auto industry
They tried to fleece us us a 14k “market adjustment”. Save your time and money and find a reputable dealer that is to looking to screw you over. I did and didn’t have to pay a market adjustment but took a short flight to Albuquerque NM to wrap the deal up. Worth the $650 in flight and gas.

More questions on this survey, most actually, should be optional! It annoys me more be forced to answer ALL your questions when I may only really want to reply to a few. Just because Hyundai wants to know, doesn't mean I want to share about every aspect of the visit. THIS is the reason I usually just skip these types of reviews. Withnell service dept took was amazing! My car required some work covered under my sevice contract and thanks to Duncan Barry, this whole process was seamless! Duncan ensured I was able to get a loaner vehicle, things moved quickly and efficiently. Thank you for taking the time and putting customers first!
