Oil change dispute
Was charged for what should have been one of the four complimentary oil changes on my new Santa Fe purchased from your dealership in February of 2020. On the last oil change, the tech affixed a sticker to the windshield as to the recommended mileage for the next change. Always try to follow those directions, took the car for service. Young ladies were very courteous at check in and all seemed to be in order for the complimentary service. They went to lunch and what I found out later to be the service manager was manning the checkout. Told me that I would have to pay for the service since I had not accumulated enough mileage since the last change. Told him I was following the suggested sticker on the windshield. His response was “well I apologize for that error on the tech’s part of giving you the wrong numbers but you will have to pay anyway “. Tried to negotiate but the service manager was not interested. So I ended up, in my opinion, paying for a mistake made by the dealership.
