Our goal is always to be transparent and thorough when helping our clients, especially when working within state-sponsored programs, which can sometimes extend repair timelines.
When you first contacted us regarding the A/C issue in your son Julian’s vehicle, our technician identified a major leak coming from the A/C condenser. At that point, we explained that this would be the starting point and that there was a possibility of additional leaks once the system was recharged and pressurized. You were also informed that the Low Income Repair Assistance Program (LIRAP) through the State of California would only cover verified leak-related repairs and that coverage beyond the initial approved repair was unlikely.
Thanks to the program, we were able to complete $1,324.75 worth of repairs with only a $126.08 out-of-pocket cost to you. Once the system was recharged, a secondary leak at the compressor was found. As discussed, this repair was not covered by the program and would be at your expense. We understand and respect your decision not to proceed further, especially after informing us that your third-party warranty had recently been canceled.
While we strive to keep every customer updated promptly, we acknowledge there may have been some delays during the process. Much of this was due to the necessary back-and-forth with the state program, which can take time for authorization.
We regret that you left feeling dissatisfied despite the substantial repairs completed at a significantly reduced cost to you. We’re always aiming to improve and will take your comments seriously as we continue to train our team to ensure clearer communication and better service in the future.
