Had our car for 9 weeks
Our daughter has a 2022 Hyundai Tucson and was treated horribly for nine weeks. This car was fully under warranty but it died on the highway. The third new Hyundai she had with a blown transmission. I was on the phone with the service department for 9 weeks straight and was told lie after lie. When we finally got the car back, they did not give us the work order sheet that explains what parts they put in the car. Do not buy a car at Werner. You will lose your mind dealing with this severely unprofessional team of uncaring staff. Dreadful experience. My daughter had to find a way to get to school and work for 9 weeks. They never even helped her with transportation. Mind you, this is a 2022 Tucson. Beware, Beware!

Brought my 2023 Kona in today for a Recall and oil change. I booked the appointment two weeks ago. I was supposed to show up at 9:30. Sat in my car waiting for service for at least 10 minutes. When I finally get a service representative to assist me. I told him that I was getting the recall done and that its time for my free oil change. He told me that I would be charged for the oil change because I didn’t buy the vehicle from them. I brought up the PDF online of Hyundais requirement of their free serviced up to 36,000 miles one of the reasons why I bought the car could bring it to any Hyundai. His service manager said I was correct yeah well I was correct because I called him out on it, I waited 2 1/2 hours and they told me that they couldn’t install the recall part they had to order it. It was specific to a Vin number. Well I made an appointment two weeks ago. Why didnt they ask for the Vin number and why did they make me sit there for 2 1/2 hours my car never move from the spot that it was in. They said that I would be next for the oil change. I told him please give me my car back I had nothing done with them. I called another Hyundai dealership and spoke to the service manager and he is ordering me the part and I have an appointment with a different Hyundai dealer . Do not go there. They are horrible. !

If you have a choice, go somewhere else.
I can’t speak about the sales department, but the service department is terrible. It is very unorganized. Communication within the department is abysmal. Want to leave a message for your advisor? Good luck. Waiting to hear from your advisor? Good luck. Forget about asking someone to do something that is not their specific responsibility. That’s not their job! And don’t even think about complaining to the service manager, because he will just blame others (maybe even you) for their problems.

Fortunately for them, there are no other Hyundai dealerships within 100 miles. If they had any competition, they would be out of business in six months.

If you are stuck having to go there, I feel sorry for you.

No return call
I’ve been trying to get a hold of Courtney that works with the GAP claims for a week now and have heard nothing from her yet. My car was totaled a month ago and I am still jumping through hoops trying to get my GAP activated so I can get another car, but Courtney is holding me up. I was thinking about purchasing a vehicle with them, but now I think not.
The communication has been ZERO!

Today makes eleven months my car has been at WERNER'S HYUNDAI for an engine repair only to learn after calling repeatedly that Hyundai refused to repair my engine and yes, I purchased my car brand new in 2017 and this would've been the second engine replacement!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE LIARS!!

Poor Customer Experience
When we first went to Werner I guess we didn't look rich enough or something because no one offered to help us or even acknowledged we were even in the building for the first 10 minutes. This should have been our first sign to go somewhere else. We finally asked for some help and got a salesman by the name of James. James was great. He did everything he could to help us. We wanted to put a deposit down on a car that was supposed to be there in 3 weeks. James helped us do that. In 3 weeks the car still hadn't arrived. 6 weeks later our car finally came so we went to pick it up. Again I guess we didn't look rich enough because it took the receptionist nearly 30 minutes to get someone to help us. They were at this point still assuming we were broke because the salesman kept saying he didn't even know if we would qualify and kept acting like we were wasting his time and they hadn't even collected my info yet. Well this all changed when they ran my credit and discovered I had an 817. They all were very nice and respectful after that and we ended up purchasing our $60,000 car. Well after we left I guess they didn't care anymore because after 2 months and several phone calls and voice mails to them the DMV still hadn't received any application from them for our car. After getting a temp tag from the DMV ourselves we couldn't receive another temp tag because they only issue one. So we couldn't drive the car for a few days. We finally got in touch with someone at Werner that managed to get us a tag 3 days later. Well the story doesn't end there. After we finally got a tag I called Werner back to ask about getting the Letter of Certification that we need to get our tax credit because we bought an EV and after being placed on hold several times so the receptionist could speak with her manager she finally came back and told me that I would have to get that from my accountant. My accountant is the one who told me the car dealership would have to give the Letter of Certification to me which make sense since they are the ones that could certify that the car is an EV. So I contacted the IRS who also said I would need to get the Letter of Certification from the dealership. After this I called the dealership back and asked again. They forwarded me to someone who did not answer so I left a voicemail. No one ever called me back So I called again and continue to this day to be sent to a voicemail and never receive a call back. Hopefully I can get the letter before I have to file taxes. I am a manager myself in my own career. I understand that this is only the second EV they have sold but don't lie to people. You are respected more when you admit you made a mistake or don't know something and you try to fix the mistake or get the answer and get back with the person.
Watch out for these people. They have poor customer service and do not help at all after you are gone if you can even get them to help you when you go.

This is what I would give them. Absolutely unexceptionable.

I wish they would bring back the staff that were there when they were on Tennessee street. They actually cared.

2022 Hyundai Tucson malfunctioned Service refuses to give me loaner or rental while I await warranty repair
My brand new 2022 Hyundai Tucson was towed to Werner Hyundai Saturday night. The car decelerated and stopped in the middle of a busy road which could have been fatal. I used the My Hyundai app roadside assistance for the towing. To which I’m told by the tow service to never buy Hyundai. I called Werner for 2 days and no one could locate my vehicle. Even after I arrived in person, the service specialists had no idea where my vehicle was located. I ended up walking the lot to locate my own vehicle. After hours I’m finally told that a diagnostic could take days and repair months. I am also told that the specialist smelled gas when trying to start my vehicle. He went on to blame this on a Hyundai quality control issue of American made new vehicles. I was not offered a rental or loaner vehicle for my inconvenience. This was a very dangerous potential fatal situation. To which I wouldn’t have fallen victim to had I not purchased a brand new vehicle. Called a Hyundai GM in Jacksonville, FL and he said that it is unacceptable for them not to rent or loan me a vehicle while I wait for a warranty repair. I've sent emails, called and left voicemails to which I've gotten no reply.

Poor customer care
I'm not sure who I need to speak with but my family and I have bought multiple vehicles from Hyundai and up until this recent purchase we have been pleased with our service. We purchased a Chevy truck at the end of last year and it has been problematic every since we've have had it. We recently had it towed to the dealership, we purchased an extended warranty as well. The vehicle has been there for two weeks with no contact reaching out to us for updates, diagnostics not a single call made to us. We have called and keep getting the same response "we're sorry management is in a meeting, someone will call you back" However NOTHING !!! The customer service is unacceptable. If a business cannot help a customer when the call comes in and a call back is required, return the call. At the very least apologize for not having an answer and assure the customer they are not being put off. With out a paying customer you have NO job. Sadly, Warner Hyundai has failed at customer satisfaction.
