Never again
Our car was not running all that great so we went and had the codes pulled. The car was then taken to Troy's to be worked on. $800.00 and a week later got the car back. We IMMEDIATELY had the codes pulled on it again ( I am a mechanics daughter) SAME CODES were spitting out. Called Troy's and told them they claimed we did something to the car to cause it to do the same exact problem after we were told it was fixed that they had put heat shields on parts of the engine etc. So we took it to a different mechanic to make sure I wasn't nuts and missing the heat shields etc. The new mechanic said the work they claimed they had done was not done and there were no heat shields. The chalk line we put on a part before Troy's supposedly worked on was still in the same spot like the part was never taken apart to be fixed. Dont waste your time or money. A good mechanics backs up their work, guarantees it. If not fixed the first time bring it back we will fix it again and again until correctly fixed. At least that's how I was taught, my father was taught and his father before him. We owned our own mechanic shop and we always guaranteed our work and my father to this day still stands behind his work. Wished my dad lived in Ky.
