AC repair
They checked my ac that was not working. Said compressor was good and that the compressor clutch was bad. Said they couldn’t replace just the clutch. First tried to charge $2500 , then when I bocked that , they said $1300. As I didn’t tell them that I am a licensed hvac tech with an auto mechanics background. The guy at counter fed me a line about metal shavings being in compressor as I know they are sealed and they told me nothing was wrong with compressor. I replaced cutch , spent about $130 and now the ac in my van will freeze you out. Not to mention, I repaired it without breaking loose any refrigerant lines. When they first opened, I HAD a lot of trust in them. That won’t happen again .

Great Service
I called this morning requesting a battery replacement for Jeep Cherokee. I arrived at 1:00 PM and was back on the road 45 minutes later.

Great service.
Had a do called garage look at my SUV, said he had no idea what the problem was. Took it to Troy's and within 2 hrs. They called me, told me what the problem was, the cost, and when the job would be finished. Very satisfied with the service, employee's, and the cost. Wouldn't go anywhere else !

Never again
Our car was not running all that great so we went and had the codes pulled. The car was then taken to Troy's to be worked on. $800.00 and a week later got the car back. We IMMEDIATELY had the codes pulled on it again ( I am a mechanics daughter) SAME CODES were spitting out. Called Troy's and told them they claimed we did something to the car to cause it to do the same exact problem after we were told it was fixed that they had put heat shields on parts of the engine etc. So we took it to a different mechanic to make sure I wasn't nuts and missing the heat shields etc. The new mechanic said the work they claimed they had done was not done and there were no heat shields. The chalk line we put on a part before Troy's supposedly worked on was still in the same spot like the part was never taken apart to be fixed. Dont waste your time or money. A good mechanics backs up their work, guarantees it. If not fixed the first time bring it back we will fix it again and again until correctly fixed. At least that's how I was taught, my father was taught and his father before him. We owned our own mechanic shop and we always guaranteed our work and my father to this day still stands behind his work. Wished my dad lived in Ky.

Saved the day!
On a Wednesday, 4:30 pm, car quit in heavy traffic on Lone Oak Rd, wrecker responded, next day water pump and fan motor replaced.
Prompt and fair, drove home that day.
