The dealership was adamant about receiving a review, and my promise was to leave an honest one - as that is the right thing to do. What should have been an exciting, positive experience for me, left me feeling quite the opposite - Disheartened. Misled. Disappointed. Taken advantage of.
My experience with the leasing of my brand new vehicle, services provided by Toyota of Richardson, is that this dealership relies on manipulation, deflection, and psychological tactic; all to build a false rapport and reduce your defenses to simply maximize profit. They bring the.. "I got you", "I'm a good guy", friendly hand shake with - "Hey, we're getting you a good deal, Trust me", technique. A fast "Let's get you in & out" style, that is not favorable under such circumstances. Rather than gain loyalty & build relationships, they exploit your trust and hope you won’t notice. Unfortunately, this smokescreen approach, designed to exhaust, distract, and bait you into signing without fully understanding, is what gives reputable dealerships and the entire industry a bad name. Only thing this builds is mistrust and stress for the customer. Regrettably, this experience has also tarnished my feelings about Toyota - a brand I have respected, promoted, and remained loyal to for well over a decade.
Honesty, transparency, and communication, are valuable and highly essential assets in business and life. Without them there is no true success.
Given my experience, and trust in your business practices - particularly regarding financing/transparency/communication, I am unable to entrust future business to your company. Thus, I cannot in good faith recommend your dealership, Toyota of Richardson, to anyone.
