Worst car buying experience.told me I couldn’t reserve new car without adding 5k Green car package .finance guy says I can “roll the dice “ to see if car will still be there . I’m going to complain to attn general . Willing to pay sticker but they are greedy liars .

Bought a new Highlander
Thanks to Derek and Shavam and Shay and James and manager Chris for a great experience buying a new Highlander! All were incredibly friendly and helpful. I have been taking my 2012 RAV4 there for service for ten years and plan to continue my service there for my new car. I have had great experiences with the service team and now the sales team. Highly recommend!!

Unbelievable
Toyota of Lake City is an abysmal excuse for a repair shop. I took my Prius in for some major work and, when I picked it up, a piece on the bottom was duct taped in place. When the duct tape inevitably failed a few days later, I returned the car. They kept me waiting for two and a half hours--after telling me it would take 30 minutes--only to come and tell me that they had ordered the wrong part and that my car was now held together by zip ties.

Again, I returned it to Toyota. The car is fixed now, but they are now refusing to release it to me because they have not received the check from my insurance for the initial work they did. (Bear in mind, they did release it to me before; I had it for several days before these additional problems cropped up.) Now I am stuck paying an arm and a leg for a rental car I cannot afford because of (1) an issue between Toyota and my insurance that is not my fault and (2) because of Toyota's initial shoddy repair job. Also, they are now trying to claim that after they repaired my car "properly," I went and duct-taped it together myself.

Best dealership experience I have had
A few weeks ago I went in to sign paperwork on my new 4Runner that we were waiting to get shipped here. My dad di all of the leg work for me (I do not live close to the dealership and he does) and so when we went to go in and sign, pretty much everything was done and the paperwork was ready for us. They went the extra mile and put a huge red bow on my car to make it extra special when I saw it in person for the first time, and even added a personal touch as another extra. They went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of, and every single person I interacted with felt like they were family or I had met them before. They went the extra mile in getting us the best deal and I could not be more thankful. Shay was an absolute delight to sign paperwork with, and Alex and Tom really made the extra effort to make this an exciting and personal experience. 10/10 would recommend this dealership and team, and also 10/10 would recommend a 4Runner. Best car I have ever had!

Thanks to Roan for an excellent experience
Roan Small served our needs to help narrow down the type of auto that we wanted. He was extremely knowledgeable about each of the models and let us know what he liked about them and then giving us an opportunity to experience as many cars as we could. He listened to what we had to say, was personable, approachable and it was obvious that he was in it for the long-haul and not wanting just to make a deal with us right away and then leave. He spent a great deal of time with us and has followed up with additional information. He seemed to understand what it was that we wanted without us having to go overboard in explaining. He was willing and eager to show us us pre-owned cars as well as the new cars. We had a really great experience with him and Now that we have a better idea about exactly what we want, we will continue in our relationship with Roan and have confidence that he will help us get the best car at the best price.

Max contacted me about the car I needed,I went to the dealership and since he was with another customer,he asked Ron to show me the car hence saving my time. Best car buying experience I've ever had
I have purchased many cars in my days and have never experienced such a pleasurable experience. My salesman was Max and he didn't play any games with me. Shay took care of the financing and steered me in the right direction. On top of all that they delivered the car to my house on Christmas Eve with a big red bow on it so I could surprise my wife. Thank you Lake City Toyota

Female worked there years
I lived like a pauper. I was a tool
I wasn't making money but the system is incestuous....recruiting lackeys and hopefuls with initial compliments. One becomes the worm at the end of a fish hook and expendable. I stood outside for hours in the sun and was called in for wearing a visor to protect my face. I was forced to take off. Subsequently I had to have a cancerous lesion removed. Don't work for a car dealership.

Go anywhere but here!
I have received the worst service ever at the Toyota dealership in Lake City. All they care about is making us feel not the customer. The paper tag that they put on this car has expired two days ago I have contacted them and ask about Another paper tag or where to pick up my hard plate that I purchased their response was I need to contact separate because he was either hand and they had nothing to do with it. The finance guy failed to give me the information to contact corporate and when questioned hung the phone up in my face.

Dont Buy Here
I have leased a car here twice. Never again. Most recently the sales person told me that Hondas have higher customer loyalty, that he wasn't making any money to help me with my purchase, that the car I got had safety features that it doesn't. To top it off, this is the 2nd time that the price changed between my agreement to lease and the the signing of papers in the finance office. The first time the insurance rates (GAP) increased the monthly above what I was quoted by a small amount, but it was still a good deal. The 2nd time, I knew that this was part of the process so I asked for finance quote that specifically included the insurance. I also asked for detail that I could take home overnight to run the numbers with my budget. Then I went back to purchase, and once again the numbers went up. The Finance guy seems so confused and the people who quoted me the original are not around. I do like the car and the service team is great. But I will never purchase or lease through Lake City again. They are high pressure and don't tell the truth.

not so happy about service
I thought service included vacuuming and cleaning inside of car---did not even touch the front seat area or take mat out to clean which was full of sand and no wipe down of steer wheel etc (corona).
While know they don't wash cars any more, used to always give a comp car wash at nearby place. Did no receive that either.
Perhaps, they were just super busy---however, main reason I go to Lake City is because of past good service. Even bought the car there. May have to return to Spokane for next car!

Very helpful service, excellent experience.
George Chaker was very courteous, professional and helpful. The whole process of buying a new Yaris was faster and smoother than I expected. His knowledge and skill in this process was truly impressive.

Great experience, good people.
James fielded my call when I inquired on a 2020 4runner. I knew what I wanted and was prepared for all the sales tactics. To my surprise James Lynch wasnt your typical salesman. He was polite, understanding and very helpful. He went out of his way to disinfect and sanitize all the areas we encountered (covid-19, which I am certain was not part of his sales training). I can be a difficult customer but after working with James and with the help of Karim (sales manager), we reached a deal. We were able to get the EXACT vehicle we wanted all the way down to the floor mats! Go see James!

Beware of Rav4 Hybrid Fuel Tank Issue
The purchase experience was pleasant and efficient. I used the internet sales process and ordered my Rav4 Hybrid since what I wanted was not in stock. Delivery was about 6 weeks.

However, to all future buyers beware there is a known defect with the fuel tank that was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. The Rav4 2019 Hybrid fuel tank is 14.5 gallons. My vehicle will only fill to about 10 gallons meaning the range of the vehicle is reduced by approximately 175 miles. No idea what this means to resale but assume it has a negative impact.

Toyota's response is useless. I have a case opened and there are no updates or feedback. When I first contacted Lake City about the issue, the service person said to bring the vehicle in for service. I assumed the problem would be corrected. I came in on a Saturday only to be told this is a know issue and there is currently no fix. You think the service representative could have told me this on the phone instead of wasting my time.

I am totally frustrated with Toyota. Selling a vehicle with a known defect and not disclosing this at the time of sale is, in my opinion, terrible sales practices and customer service.
