This place took my money!
Took my vehicle to Titan for an RSC code on the dash (roll stability control). They had my vehicle for almost 2 months, and 3 attempts to fix the issue, at a cost around $1,000. After 3rd time taking it back, he wanted me to pay $471 for a part that he (Bruce Sr.) "thought" would fix the issue. I argued that I've already given you $1,000 to fix that issue, you're just taking my money. He said I'm trying to do right by you. He said I'll cover the $200 labor. I said what if that isn't the problem, he said that doesn't fix it, that he would cover the part. Hmm, so what about all the money you've already taken for that problem, crickets. I told him that I was on the way to get the truck, everybody was giving me the cold shoulder when I got there. I told him that I was an Electrician and that I couldn't charge someone, nor would I for a problem that I couldn't/didn't fix. He said I understand, clearly you do. Do not take your vehicle to this place for anything. None of this is made up. You have been warned. You should see them on the news soon. And other social media platforms.

Rip off artists
I recently had a state inspection and an oil change performed. I had an appointment set for 10:00 AM, and the work completed until after 11:40 AM. During the inspection, they claimed that a headlight bulb was out, that was working earlier that morning. They told me that it would need to be replaced to pass inspection, but they did not tell me the cost at that time. I was charged $24 for the bulb and $48 for the labor to install the bulb. So, $72 for a single headlight bulb. I feel like this is outrageous, and when I explained that to the company, they said they take all complaints seriously, and they deeply care about how their customers feel about their service. Needless to say, I won’t be returning.

Used to be happy with Titan
Failed state inspection yesterday. I get that, older vehicle, will have issues. Corrected all items to try to get rejection sticker off before weekend. Was told they are just too busy to get me back in. I understand busy, I understand customer appreciation also. Not feeling it right now. Would take 5 minutes for the failure items to be re-checked, as I explained on the phone.
State inspection of another vehicle back in May, was charged to replace a faulty brake lamp. In a bind, had to pay for them to do it. Turns out the socket was faulty, not the bulb. Brake light still didn't work when we got it home. Fixed myself, didn't worry about it too much at the time. Just added to my list of Titan mistakes over the years.
Have to go back Monday morning (again, the closed on the weekend thing) to get sticker. Not sure if that will be my last visit or not. I have to answer the "would you recommend this business" question to submit this review. Going to answer no today, would have been a yes up until just now.

Great Customer Service
We were very pleased with the work and the great customer service. I was uncomfortable with the large political sign in the front lawn, however. It made me feel like I was supporting a candidate just by getting vehicle service done. I couldn't recommend this business to my friends for that reason alone.

Service
The staff is always friendly & knowledgeable. We take all three of our vehicles there. They were very patient with my daughter. It was the first time for her to bring a vehicle in. They took the time to explain to her what they would be doing for the car. (As they do with everyone but many places you won't get that kind of service)

Failed state inspection for powder steering leak!
Failed state inspection for residue of a power steering leak. Charged me for a second inspection because I was a few days beyond the 15 day window for re-inspection after replacing the power steering pump. Wanted $650 to replace the power steering pump... with a remanufactured pump that cost $85.

I'm sorry you are unhappy with your visit. We carefully follow the guidlines set by the Virginia State police regarding the Virginia Safety Inspection. If you went beyond your 15 day window there is nothing we can do to change the re inspection charge. Concerning the power steering pump; the cost of the pump includes a part warranty from the manufacturer plus the expertise and time it takes our techs to properly install the part. We wish you all the best.
