Took daughters 2005 Denali in to have malfunctioning tail lights fixed.
They (Speck) did a 125 $ diagnostic that they said disclosed blinker switch on steering column needed replaced Would have to order one that would be about 3 weeks in delivery process to GMC shop. About 3-4 weeks in they called to say switch was in and to schedule a date to go into their shop to replace the older one; that they had declared faulty....We took vehicle back in and they did replace the switch and called us to say vehicle done and have us pay for parts and labor. We did so very late in day and assumed lights fixed. Upon my driving the declared repaired vehicle at home found there was no change in the tail lights..
They had not checked the lights after the blinker replacement....A gross/obvious proof that the blinker switch was not the Cause of the malfunctioning tail lights.
Subsequent attempts to get wasted money back looked good but Speck motors nixed a fair settlement and wanted BS proving they had botched the job.
